Antonia — Kaftan With Side Slits Pattern
Antonia is a chic, easy to wear maxi kaftan that could do double duty as a beach cover-up. With its ankle length, a deep V-neckline and two dramatic side slits, it looks relaxed and feels glamorous. The detachable belt can be tied around the waist to give it more definition.
A perfect beginner sewing project, this kaftan will become your next favorite summer staple.

I made some changes to this pattern, making the slits run much higher so I could wear pants underneath with access to my pockets, and embroidered the neckline. I'm very happy with this pattern. I wish that the instructions were easier to find. Go to the bottom of the site, go to "the thread", then scroll down to the search bar (which is weirdly not at the top or bottom, but in the middle) and search "Antonia".
I'm so very happy with this dress. The pattern is perfect, it fits very well and it took me 4 hours to make it. Thank you for offering so beautiful patterns for free! I will definitely use more of your patterns.
Yet another free and easy to sew pattern from the linen store. I had no problems finding the instructions and the patterns. I am not sure what are the complaints here. The pattern is included as an attachment to the pdf. Click the attachment. Go to the blog that is listed in the pattern for instructions. Very easy to assemble and cut. I made this dress in about 2 hours.

I've looked everywhere for cutting and sewing instructions and can't find them on the pattern, the download or in threads
Hi! I am sorry for the delay - I just saw the comment. If you ever have a question, please email or call us so we can help quicker. This pattern comes with a tutorial blog.fabrics-store.com/2019/08/21/antonia-kaftan-with-side-slits-tutorial/ Have a great evening!
I certainly appreciate your patterns, very nice they are layered so one can print just the size they need, or even two sizes together if one needs to grade up/down from bust to hip etc. I do not know of any one else who gives away their patterns so generously, THANK YOU!!
This free tutorial has all the instructions, but no sized pattern pieces. As someone capable of drafting my own patterns, this is simply an annoyance, but for a beginner (for which this pattern is appropriate) it is very frustrating. If there is no actual pattern pieces to download, please give a graph so someone can enlarge to the appropriate size. After updating Adobe Acrobat Reader, and opening the tutorial in Reader, I spent 20 minutes trying to locate The "attachment" with the pieces. I do not appreciate the time suck. The linens at this site are gorgeous, and well worth the money and effort. Until the site works out some of the problems with the patterns, I suggest avoiding the issue.
Hi! The tutorial only has the sewing instructions the pattern PDF with the attached pattern pieces is downloaded from this page by clicking the free download button - just in case here is the direct link https://fabrics-store.com/sewing-patterns/antonia-kaftan-with-side-slits-pattern/. You would hit the download button, open the PDF with Adobe, open the attached file which is the pattern pieces. Please email me if you have any questions ask@fabrics-store.com - I will be happy to send you screenshots of the steps. Have a great day.
