I'm an experienced sewer and have made many patterns from Fabric Store. However, this pattern is so off (by almost an inch on the shoulder) and the grainlines and side seams aren't accurate. I've had to make major adjustments to the pattern.
Hi I love the look of this pattern, but I cant print it to the right size with the square size. Also I would like to use the embedding, can you give any advice. I have printed others which are fine and correct to the 2 inch square suggested

We recommend our IL020 lightweight handkerchief linen for this top. For an even lighter and sheer layer, our IL030 is beautiful.
Fun Fast Pattern
This pattern was so fast and fun to whip out. I'll be wearing it with all the patterns & my own line of clothing soon to be seen. The sizing I've learned for me is to go smaller on size by 2 sizes except in the hips. But this is relaxed and it probably doesn't need any altering! Fast & fun
The perfect summer top!
This is a wonderful way to add a little coverage to summer tank tops, and the Nico pattern. The sleeve was very narrow, and had to be altered. I finished the hems with a machine stitch that resembles hemstitching (back and forth several times for one stitch, and swing left one stitch - with a tightened needle thread the stitch pulls the fabric into lovely holes). I chose a buckle over a knot to avoid the bulk. A fancy buckle really dresses it up.
I do wish that the patterns were tested with larger models instead of just adding more lines. Also, Patricia, that's the wrong way to respond to reviews. You could just not comment instead of telling people whether your definition of average matches theirs.
This pattern is sized for ladies 0/2 to 28/30. So Deborah, it simply cannot be considered "way too small for the average woman."
why don't you make all your patterns for plus size also? I love this but it is way too small for the average woman.
I made this free Eva pattern out of medium weight IL019 signature finish. Hard to believe how nicely it turned out based on the photo here on the FS pattern site, but it has all the elements I was looking for, including buttons. I also can roll up the sleeves in really hot weather. Be cautious to check the sleeve circumference - I read that it's small so I cut it bigger but ended up taking out the excess. It just did fit. Nice pattern!

The sleeves were very small. I had to draft a new sleeve pattern to fit my "old age wings". The buckle is preferable to a bulky knot. I love my tank tops, but to go out in public, want to cover my shoulders and arms. This is the perfect pattern. The point d' paris stitch on my machine makes a beautiful hem stitched front and sleeves.
