So, I'm working through this pattern and everything is going beautifully. Then, as im attaching the waistband I'm realizing it's [the waistband] way smaller than the top of the pants. Is this an error? Am I supposed to ease it? (Seems like too much to ease) making a size 4-6.
Good evening! I am sorry to hear you ran into trouble with the waistband portion. Please email us at askfabrics-store.com so the pattern maker can help walk you through to a solution :)
Have not made these Louise Pattern Pants yet but just followed the instructions to get my pattern. No problem at all.
Comment puis je telecharger les patrons en français ne comprenant pas l'anglais
I can't quite understand why so many have such difficulties with this pattern. I downloaded and opened in Acrobat Reader and chose my correct size and voila! I would much rather see reviews about the sizing of the pattern, how it fits, etc. I'm going to give it a shot on muslin before purchasing more expensive fabric. I will edit my review once I have made a pair, but wanted to give you 5 stars right away!
j'ai trouver vos modèles de pantalons super et j'espère trouver les patrons.
Hi, I've reviewed the other comments, but still can't find the pattern pieces. I have opened the document in Reader, have clicked the Navigation button, but no attachments show up on the left. Thanks for your help.
I don't understand why it's the same yardage for all sizes? I really don't want extra that isn't enough to make anything else. I'm an 8 and I'm 5'2” - seems to me 2 1/2 yds would be more than enough, I really don't want to print and assemble this whole thing to find out :( any advice?
Good afternoon Amy - just reached out to the pattern maker with your question. Will add her response here as soon as I hear back from her :) Thank you! Hello me again - ok the recommendation is 3 yards because the fabric shrinks and the pant leg is double the usual pant leg width. She has made a suggested layout and I will send you an email with it right now.
Hi : I was able to download the Adobe reader but the pattern is not escalated to to regular printer size paper, how do you do that ? please email me with instructions. thank you
Good afternoon, Martha - I just emailed you with instructions for printing. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with. Thank you!
Hello again, after the priceless help of Oksana, I don`t have any problems with the pattern. Actually all the attachments were in pdf. file I received. The trouble was in my PC and not in the pattern. So big Thanks again. I have already printed, cut out and assembled this beatiful pattern.
The problem is that your pattern is made in an old version of Adobe so the newest versions do not read any other attachment than the 11 introductory -explanation ones, not the pattern itself. You need to update your file, please do it and let me know, love the style
Hi : I read the preview comment of another person and the indications after, but when one download the pattern it is not a direct pdf but a browser pdf (in my case Chrome, that always updates adobe automatically ) and there is not second attachment . What to do ?
Hello Martha - sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulty getting the attachments. Let's see if we can work this out together. In order for the file to open in its entirety - it needs to be opened via the Adobe Reader Software itself. Once the Adobe reader is downloaded to your computer and the PDF pattern file is downloaded - you will open adobe and click open file and select the DPF Pattern pattern to open. This should give you access to all the pieces. Unfortunately opening it through a browser doesn't. I'll be happy to walk you through it by phone as well 1-866-620-2008
Hello, Thank you for this beautiful pattern, but again there` s a problem with printing this pattern. I can see all the layers, but there`s only 2 pages to print, which can` t be possible.... I use Adobe in my daily job and maybe 90 % of my patterns are print at home pdf. copies. But only with this one and Zina Dress I have problems of finding the real pattern. Kind regards.
Hello Diana - thank you for letting us know you couldn't get to the pattern pieces. When you open the PDF you will see two attachments on the left hand side. Click on the first attachment and it will take you to the pattern pieces for printing at the printer; the second attachment will open up to A4 size pages. I hope this helps - there is just one extra step of clicking :) I will also follow up with an email right now and include images - I didn't want to clutter the reply with photos
