Daisy Pattern Collection - Long and Short Skirts Sewing Pattern (Premium Paper)
Description:
Imagine the first gentle rays of the sun illuminating a quiet garden while a calm breeze carries the charming scent of flowers. You walk on the soft grass, damp from the morning dew, a warm cup of tea and a favourite book in hand. Wouldn't that be a perfect morning?
Our Daisy skirt matched with a floating shirt and a warm knitted cardigan will make you feel like a Jane Austen character: feminine and delicate yet strong and ready to change the world.
To recreate a beautiful silhouette of a historic petticoat, we added a wide waistband with elastic that will define your waist. Side slits and wide hem add a modern touch to the piece. Side pockets make it extra practical.

Customer Questions and Answers
I think I would like the Daisy skirt pattern, but there is virtually no view of the upper half of the skirt. Looks like a lot of gathering at the waist for linen. So how the waist is finished is import so one doesn't look like a gathered barrel. Hope to see a better picture considering the cost. ( I have to pay extra $20 for final shipping to me.
Hello, I've added two photos of myself in this skirt that I made up in our cotton fabric. You can see the waistband in the first image which shows how the construction creates a nice minimal and flat waistband to control the gathers evenly, and it flares out gently into the skirt without bulk. I hope this helps in the meantime before we can get more photos taken.
Some images of the waistline showing on the model would be most helpful, please.

Once again, why not show a pic of this pattern on a plus sized model? And why hide the waistline in nearly every picture? Please offer the visual facts so we can make up our own minds.
Making Daisy now and I am soooo confused! What is going on with the pocket construction? I feel like there's going to be a raw edge on one side of the pocket based on the pattern directions. Any tutorials available for the pockets? I'm l baffled :(
Hi! i will send you an email now, please look out for it :) Lauren.
