Catriona Pattern Collection - Top, Blouse, Short Dress, and Long Dress Sewing Pattern (Premium Paper)
Description:
Catriona means pure in old Scottish Gaelic, and it is Scotland's pure natural beauty, with its picturesque rivers and forests, its breathtaking cliffs and castles, that inspired us to create the Catriona collection. We have designed it to make you feel beautiful and delicate on the outside, and strong and powerful on the inside.
The clean, square necklines and puff sleeves are influenced by the dresses and corsets that were worn in those Scottish castles during the Middle Ages. The simple construction assures that the pieces are easy to bring to life, even if this is your very first garment.
The top is easy to match with your favorite jeans or summer skirt, and the puffed sleeves on the blouse and short dress add a touch of romance. The long dress is a perfect addition to your summer wardrobe, offering a simple yet unique look even without any accessories.

I'm wondering why your new "simple" patterns aren't being shown on more than one size model?
Hello and thanks for your feedback. I'll let the pattern team know you would prefer to see more photos on different shapes and sizes.
I made the Catriona dress in Blue Bell WhiteMlt faille and it was a breeze to sew. It's really comfortable and I'm definitely going to make more. The dress drapes nicely over the body and keeps you cool. I didn't have enough fabric for short sleeves, so I improvised and created petal sleeves using the existing pattern.

I like your sleeves much better than the sleeves shown on the pattern.
