IL019 EVERGREEN Softened - 100% Linen - Middle (5.3 oz/yd2)
Greens from all shades of the spectrum filled William Holman Hunt's heady canvases, imbuing them with a rich, mysterious glow. Evergreen Linen's deep, rustic green brought intensity and depth into his mythological scenes, whether indoors or out, invoking in them the awe and wonder of the English landscape.
At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces, this 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.

I used this for a medieval dress and honestly I was blown away by the depth of the color. I ended up using the remaining bits to make myself a double breasted waist coat that I also get copious complements on!
This is beautiful fabric! I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet, but I love the color, hand, and weight of this linen. I bought the soft gray at the same time and am making a guayabera (Mexican shirt) for my husband. It cuts and sews like magic, and received my embroidery and other embellishments like magic too. Very, very happy!
I love this color of green! It is so deep and really does resemble the evergreen trees around my home. The fabric is soft and works up so well for garb for medieval re-enacting. Thank you so much!
This will be one of the colors in a modern quilt for my daughters' best friends wedding next summer. The high quality of this linen will make a beautiful long lasting quilt.
This is going to be for an Elvish dress for NYCC. Always washes well and holds the color. Soft and comfortable. Can't wait to get this started now that pre-wash is completed
This fabric didn't seem like quite what I was looking for but when the fabric arrived it was EXACTLY the colour I wanted. As with all the other fabric I have bought from this site it was soft and luscious and...okay I just love the linen here. And great colour. :)
I used this fabric for a swordsman shirt in a Renaissance wedding for a friend a few years back. The color is beautiful and has a very subtle blue undertone. It has a sturdy feel and has survived weekend long festivals in Texas for several years now. Great product.
This color is luscious. The fabric is a good weight for table linens, and it washes beautifully. I am hoping that some pinks will be added to the fabric offerings as well as some very wide linen fabrics for bed linens. The fabric is so wonderful that I would enjoy making a duvet from it.
I *love* this linen! I paired this with IL019 Royal Purple (front chest piece), IL020 Bleached White (the white part of the back piece), and IL019 Royal Blue ("river" on the back piece). This is made in the style of a 15th Century caparison and it is SO perfect. I lined both the front & back pieces with 4C22 Royal Blue and the flow of it is just perfect. VERY Medieval. The color is vibrant and I couldn't ask for a better linen.
