Dazzling shades of blue like CERULEAN Linen were a hallmark feature of Pablo Picasso’s late art, coloring it with the fresh light of the Mediterranean Sea. In his later years Picasso settled in the South of France, and, much like his contemporary Henri Matisse, the vivid, intense colors he encountered there ignited his artworks with sparkling, joyful vitality.
But there is another reason, perhaps, why Picasso’s late art is so forcefully bright; he knew, by now that his name would be cemented in history, and this breezy, effervescent confidence fizzes and sparkles through his late art, shaping its colors and forms.
Fluffy, dimensional, and simply a joy to live with - you’ll feel like a
sewing maestro when you pull this cloth out of its first dry cycle.
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Customer Questions and Answers
My fabric IS010 has arrived and I would like to know if the "right" side of the fabric is on the inside or the outside of the folded fabric?
I will email this information to the email we have on file.
Where can I find the directions for the towels? My material will be here Monday and I forget the directions.
Please go to our blog: Blog.fabrics-store.com and search "waffle towels" in the search bar to bring up the tutorial :)
Which side is right side of this fabric?
Hello, this fabric doesn't have a discernible right side and the waffle texture will be the same on both sides.
Be aware of the shrinkage, cut and sew before washing and drying. The weave makes it very easy to cut and press while sewing. Towels came out beautifully. I had read some reviews that fabric was rough, so I used white vinegar in the rinse cycle and dried with wool dryer balls. I mitered the corners because I didn't know how the double foldover would work with the puffy texture. The corners look neat and professional. Very soft and absorbent, and not as bulky as luxury terry towels.
All of the waffle weave fabric is wonderful and this may be my favorite color. It reminds me of the water surrounding Cancun, Mexico. It's that beautiful. It sews up into towels easily and has spoiled me away from cotton terry.
I purchased 4 yards of this to make a robe. I confess I did wash and dry at higher temps than listed for the shrinkage advice. Washing and drying resulted in a loss of 20" off the width (25% m/l). The length was more dramatic and I loss more than 30% off the length of the unwashed fabric. That is really substantial. I need to purchase more and hope for a great sale to come up again soon. $19./yard for product that yields 30% less brings the price up to roughly $25/yard plus shipping. This will be one expensive robe but it's for my mom so that offsets the expense. ;-)
I love this fabric for towels. I do not find it scratchy at all. Wonderfully absorbent . My previous ones are cream color. Looking forward to having this beautiful addition .
This was purchased for a gift, but after hemming, washing and drying it felt so wonderful, I'm keeping for myself!
