Customer Questions and Answers
Hi! Could this dress be made in one of your cotton faille fabrics? I was hoping to make it with IC023. Thanks!
The dress can be made out of IC023 fabric, it will look perfect
Hi, I love this dress but I cannot wear sleeveless. Do any of your other patterns' sleeves fit this armscye please?
Hello, I'm sorry but the sleeves in our patterns are not interchangeable.
Hi. Such a beautiful pattern. But is there a way to raise the neckline?
Thank you! You might be able to raise the neckline of this design by changing the line of the center front edges to curve inward. You will then need to add snaps, buttons or button and loops to hold the neckline in place.
Bonjour, je ne trouve pas les explications de montage !! pouvez vous m'aider ?merci beaucoup Murielle
Hello, you can find the instructions on our blog. Simply go to blog.fabrics-store.com and use the search box to search "Aja"
Instructions are easy to follow and the dress is beautiful. My only advice is to really check your personal measurements prior to making; I cut a size too large and had to take apart and refit, but that was wholly MY fault. Lovely, lovely, lovely.
Colors and weights of linens
I love this pattern. I'm relatively new to sewing garments, ignoring the wobbly items I made in high school, and I really appreciate the clear instructions and guides provided by the fabrics store. Making Aja was my first time sewing a lining into a bodice and I'm really happy with the result. I've now made two! My friend took this photo of me wearing Aja at a get together. It's an odd photo, but there you are.
