Description:

If you are looking for a trouser style which is both comfortable and feminine, then you'll love our high-waisted Lois pants with a beautiful paperbag effect around the waist. They are like your favorite pull-on trousers, only prettier.

On top of being versatile, sexy and comfortable, they are flattering and ideal for accentuating an hourglass shape. The cinched waist is balanced by the elongating effect of the pant legs allowing the fabric to flow and cling gently to curves.

With their looser fit, these paperbag pants looks gorgeous when styled with more fitted tops for balance and a more proportioned look. It helps the paperbag-waist detail stand out and you don't want to hide it, you want to show that off!

I do have the adobe reader, something I've used often before. But even when I go back and look at your instructions, I'm unable to download this pattern. When I click on it, I'm not asked if I would like to save it. It just opens, and it's a pdf, but not the pattern.

My Most Comfortable Pants

These pants are very loose, very comfortable and very cute. I'm glad I finally have a pair of pants with a paper bag waist. I used a black midweight linen (IL019 BLACK Softened) for these pants. They're so comfortable I lounge in them as much as possible. Sewing this pattern was very fast and easy. The instructions were easy to follow. I sewed with a 0.5 inch seam allowance because I wanted to flat fell the seams and had no issues. If you are interested in sewing this pattern I would recommend having a ruler handy. When creating the waistband, I needed to use the ruler frequently to make sure everything was the correct length.

Are there more photos? I need to know if this is a straight pant leg. Thank you.

Lovely pants so hackable.

Hacker friendly pattern. I managed to make a pair of shorts in Xs using only one yard of fabric. The paper bag effect on the waistline looks super cute. Thank you.

FS Lois Pants made with SAFARI Heavyweight Linen worn with True Bias' Nikko Top, Analog Photography by Sophie Nawratil. As pants with elastics sometimes give me pyjama feelings, I wanted to do something different without losing the comfort factor. So I shortened the paperbag waist (as I didn't need the fabric to flip down) and added a tunnel for my cord. And I love it! I can tuck in a big knitted sweater, eat too much or just live my best life.

Made these with 1 yard of middle weight natural softened fabric. Love the paper bag effect. Thank you.
