Customer Questions and Answers
Where can I find the tutorial for this pattern?
The sewing instructions are located in the download. We have a sewing tutorial available in our Help Center as well: support.fabrics-store.com/hc/en-us/articles/18821960375821-Ksenia-Sewing-Pattern-Tutorial
Hi! I am a beginner sewer and have a question about the naming of the pieces and how they come together. From page 5 I am seeing that I'm supposed to cut 2 identical waistband pieces, and 4 identical "straps and ties." I assume this to mean that once sewn, there will be 1 waistband (made from 2 pieces) and 2 straps (made from the 4 straps and ties pieces). However based on the instructions, it seems there is an additional "waist tie" that I am missing (instruction 1). Is this waist tie supposed to be the waistband, or is it from the straps and ties? Perhaps I am reading this wrong but it's difficult for me to fully interpret the pattern without photos of each step. Thank you for your help!
Hello, I'm going to send you an email with a tutorial which should help. But essentially, there is a waistband which connects to the top and skirt of the pinafore, and connected to this waistband are the ties, so you can tie it around your body. I'm sure the tutorial will help you visualise all of these pieces and how they go together. So please look out for it.
This is a simple and fun pattern. Pocket gave me a pause but good help desk helped.
