Hi the pattern downloads but I can only see it in Adobe. Then when I try to save it to my file, print out or open it in microsoft, I cannot see the actual pattern, is there something special I need to do?

I also am having issues with attaching the collar. It seems that the collar is too long for the neck. Then I believe the instructions for attaching the collar onto the front plackets are not fully explained. I found a video on line about attaching the collar that may help. Does anyone else have a favorite video that would explain more?

I made this shirt last year and forgot about the difficulty I had with the collar. It seems the collar pattern is to long for the neck. In order for the collar to stand up, it must be smaller than the neck. For a size 8 I had to reduce the length of the collar by about 5/8 inch.

Aside from the collar issues, here is one problem with the Jade instructions: At the point of sewing the sleeve plackets, this is the link you show: blog.fabrics-store.com/2018/01/23/sewing-glossary-how-to-sew-a-continuous-bound-sleeve-placket/. So that's what I did, throwing out the piece I cut from your pattern. Your instructions are wrong. Summing this experience up, 1) Do NOT like running from my machine to my computer screen for instructions. I want printed instructions at hand for reference as I go. 2) Your linen fabric is great. Your patterns? Not so much. I would not give you a nickel (let alone the outrageous price of nearly $50) for another one.

You can also download our pattern tutorials, there is a "Download Tutorial" button at the end of the instructions allowing you to download and print the instructions if you prefer to have them hard copy.
First had a lot of trouble with the collar... now I'm looking at the sleeve placket....where the directions on that say I'm to make a couple of bias tape pieces yet nowhere do I see instructions for the placket that I cut out with your pattern. I'm nearly ready to give up on this shirt. The person who answered my collar issue could not help with that one, so please someone talk about this sleeve placket. It would be very helpful if your pattern had markings on them... middle of the collar etc. for placement also for sleeves, and etc. etc.

Hello, We recommend comparing your actual body measurements to the size guide to get your best size. This will help you avoid any discrepancies when comparing sizes from clothing brands and then converting sizes since different brands have different sizing guides than we do. This is the Jade pattern with the Noa collar added to it. Made in a William Morris cotton. I would love to buy your linen but I am in the UK.

Another success! Thank you for the pattern. I made this with your Mixed linen and cotton blend medium wt. I felt that this fabric is suitable for my first mandarin style collar and my first front button placket as the fabric is slightly "stiffer" which makes things easier to line up. Had so much fun with your instructions and pics. Tho with my next project, I will stick with your softened 100% linen, which is my most preferred fabrics.
I made this pattern as a sample before cutting into linen. I noticed the shirt seems "off center". Is that how it should look? There is much more fabric on the pocket side at the neck than on the non-pocket side. Is this how it should look or did I do something incorrect? I want to make if correctly out of my white linen.
