Description:

This new sewing pattern is really easy to make and would make a lovely addition to your wardrobe. Use the adjustable ties to create a flirty bow in the back. The cut is just plunge-y enough to feel sexy without feeling too exposed. And the best part is that it is fully lined, with no apparent seams. Pair it with high-waisted jeans or skirts.

Mari profile image Beautiful top

I downloaded this pattern and made a size 2 with no adjustments. I like the top but will make others with some adjustments on the shoulders, length and maybe rather than knots maybe a button.

Cute but...

It is cute but the size 0 required a lot of alterations to get it to fit properly around the arms and bust. Made it more of a boat neck though and I love it and will be making it again in different colors.

Perfect with a slight change

I love this top! Have now made it in three colours, and am working on one for a friend. It's fully reversible which I love. Based on another review, I made the shoulders narrower and the v neck about 2 inches lower. Love it! I made matching culottes and shorts to go with one of the tops.

Ashley profile image Great Beginner Pattern

If you're plus-sized and don't like a tight fit, you might want to adjust and widen the V-neck and arm homes. Other than that, this pattern is perfect for summer. A great pattern to start learning the basics of sewing. You can even make it into a reversible piece and use two different colored linens.

A little gem!

I absolutely love the contrast of the boxy, modest front and flowing, playful back. The high V neck gives a distinctive look and the the ties in the back are perfect. Very comfortable to wear & move about in and it's quick & easy to make, the tutorial has clear instructions. Thank you!!!

Beautiful top! I made this top with no adjustments. I used the cotton print and I lined the inside with a light linen both fabrics were purchased from the fabric store! Moving forward I will make some adjustments to the shoulders, v neck and maybe rather than a knot I will add a large button. I used a very Lacey bra with crisscross strap for interesting back. I received lots of compliments on the top.

Here is my version with slightly lower neck and narrower shoulders. The culottes are just an extended version of the Jules Pleated shorts.

I'm usually between a US 14/16 in store clothing but sized up for this pattern and used the 16-18 template. It fit perfectly. I used a stiffer secondhand fabric so it kept it shape really well. Definitely beginner-friendly and great for summer time!

I made a size 4-6. Just perfect!
