Description:

Every “Tea Towel” Sew Kit is printed on heavy, luxurious cotton and can be sewn in a few easy steps.

The size of the unwashed, printed panel (includes 2 towels) is 44 x 32".
The size of one finished ( hemmed) and washed towel is 20 x 30" ( includes 4% shrinkage width and length based on a warm prewash and drying on low heat.

It requires cutting off the extra fabric for each towel by dividing lines, pressing cloth, and sewing straight lines around the edges of each towel from the set.

This project does not require high professional skills but requires passion and curiosity for sewing.

This can be a good project for beginners who want to create their own collection of Kitchen Tea Towels. All designs are created exclusively for F|S.

These Kitchen Tea Towels might work on drying the dishes or can be beautiful decorative objects in your kitchen or a gift for your friend...

We recommend you to keep white fabric around 0.5 inches and will look beautiful.

The fabric panels are 44 x 32", so you can use these dimensions and compare to your apron pattern to see if they will fit.

I made these without washing first. I had washed other sets first which caused a lot of fraying up to an inch. I gave these as a gift and will be making more in different prints. I added a strip of twill tape across a corner sewn into the hems that can be used to hang them. They are a good size after turning under about 1/4" then 3/8" hem on all sides.
