You can sew your towels before washing since the shrinkage is minimal and doesn't impact your hems.
Makes a beautiful tote
I purchased this pattern for craft show last November. Everyone loved the pattern but didn't purchased my finished towels because they were too pretty to use in the kitchen so I came up with an idea to market these beautiful patterns, the farmer market shopping bag. It is fully lined and it has a pocket with a snap. Now we can shop in style!
Fall Apples
These tea towel sets are gorgeous. I gave an apple tea towel to a friend whose eyes lit up when she saw it. She said she would use it as a wall hanging instead of a tea towel. I think these would also make lovely pillows or curtains. I plan on buying all of these beautiful pieces to make Xmas and birthday presents.

Our LQS owner loves these! (And, she knows better than to ask where I got them since I didn't get them in her shop.). They'll be donated to our local quilt guild for the sale table at our quilt show in 2024.
the design is not on grain so hemming can be a bit tricky but doable. So far this is only true for the apple design.

I just love these towels. Nice to have such pretty pieces for a utilitarian product. Sometimes you just gotta spoil yourself! They sew up in a jiffy. The only thing I would say that would make this better would be a scrap piece of fabric so I could test the settings of my serger. I like these towels so well, I am ordering more to make gifts.
Since the pattern is only going on one direction I cut the towel in the middle so I can flip the pattern to be on the right direction. Then I added contrasting fabric and durable straps. The tote also has a inside pocket with a snap so I can go shopping without a purse. I live in Boquete Panama and we have a farmers market every Thursday and I love my bag. I am selling these bags thru my Facebook store la casita de lavanda!
These are different than most of the prints in that the border is green (necessitating another spool of thread. Ha ha.). I like sewing these before washing because they unravel and sides stretch out. I also used a strip of twill tape caught in the hems across a corner for hanging. These are a very generous size. Colors are vibrant.
