At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 58 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.
Our FS Signature Finish was developed exclusively for us using a special process that makes this linen super soft with a comfy, classic look you'll love at first sight.
As a bonus, this process removes almost all of the initial shrinkage, giving you more fabric to get your projects done.
This finish makes the linen as soft as butter. Yep, 100% linen that feels and drapes and sews as no linen you have ever encountered. Because the fabric has been pre-shrunk for you - it will be less than the base cloth width.

Looking for a linen fabric to match Pantone 350 C Color which is a dark green.

Pantone has a few libraries. #1_ Textile -TCX based on colors made on mercerized fine cotton.We start designing our colors with the pantone as a reference but because linen takes color differently often we have slight differences and can not accurately relate to the Pantone TCX standards. #2 -for hard goods like paper, plates furniture and etc , we do not work with these libraries: C - Coated, U-uncoated. Because there is no 100% correlation in colors that we have on Linen we recommend buying samples

This color, along with Dried Herb, Loden green, and Cedar green may be interpreted as a moss green. We encourage you to get samples so you can compare the colors yourself in person. These are all on our IL019 base. For a heavyweight fabric please search for Moss Green.

I used this fabric for curtains. It lets some light through, but mine aren't meant to be drawn to block light but just to add color and texture, maybe drawn at night sometimes. I love the slightly golden green in the sun light. They were easy to sew, very little shrinking, much less than the 10%, I think. Very happy with my purchase.
I ordered the Vineyard green 5.3 oz. linen for a pair of capri pants. I washed and dried the fabric (warm wash, low heat in dryer) before cutting and was surprised at how little shrinkage there was. The fabric lost 2" in width (was 59-1/2" wide before laundering, 57-1/2" after). The length shortened only 1" per yard. The color is a yellowish green, sort of a bright olive, and goes with a lot of different colors. I'm very pleased with my capris and know they will be useful this summer.
This is my favorite green in linen. I made the Phoebe pattern and it turned out so well, I've made 5 more in various colors. This pattern is great in just about any color. My favorite is still the vineyard green.
I wanted a green skirt, it is not common to find a dark green colored skirt and I wanted to work with linen. So, here I found the color and clean linen. I loved the color and the skirt. I used Simplicity 2451 easy to sew .
I bought this fabric for curtains and had just about a yard left. I'm a beginner sewing and found this easy pattern - "Hansie" top by Seamwork with a sew along on their website. The fabric was so easy to work with and I'm trilled with the result. I will wear this top a lot. Great color - vineyard green IL-019 linen.
The medium weight vineyard green linen fabric is just awesome. I used it to create a Viking apron dress for the SCA. I like that it is soft and while the green is vibrant, it is also natural. I plan to order another five yards of this linen to make a skirt out of for everyday wear.

The golden green looks great in the sun light and in tungsten light. Very easy to sew even thought the curtains are so long.
These are the capris I made from Simplicity pattern 1887, using the Vineyard green 5.3 oz. linen. The fabric was somewhat 'springy' at first but after being washed a couple of times has relaxed a bit and looks very nice.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
