In the mystical, surreal world of Swedish painter Hilma Af Klint, eccentric shapes loop, twist and turn through space, carrying with them an energized, spiritual wonder. A pioneering painter of the early 20th century, Klint painted her unique brand of abstraction with a full spectrum of color, but sandy, warm neutrals like MAHOGANY ROSE often sat in amongst more saturated hues, carrying with them an air of calm, contemplative stability.
At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 58 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Would you say this is a muted peach color?

You could say that yes it is a muted peach based on comparing it to other visual color samples that are referred to as muted peach. We do have samples for purchase just to make sure this is the color you are looking for.

Mahogany Rose Softened Linen was a really beautiful choice for a loungewear project. It's such a pleasant color and the softened 5.3 oz weight worked so well for this garment. Coincidentally, Anna and her husband used this similar color on the tiles of their lovely primary shower. It's a modern take on a gentle neutral peachy pink. Making both pieces in the same color really completes the set. This weight is our favorite to work with and Fabrics-Store has a great selection of colors to choose from.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
