At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 58 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.

Our FS Signature Finish was developed exclusively for us using a special process that makes this linen super soft with a comfy, classic look you'll love at first sight.

As a bonus, this process removes almost all of the initial shrinkage, giving you more fabric to get your projects done.
This finish makes the linen as soft as butter. Yep, 100% linen that feels and drapes and sews as no linen you have ever encountered. Because the fabric has been pre-shrunk for you - it will be less than the base cloth width.

Hello, we only sell this fabric in 1 yard increments. For smaller cuts, you could try your luck in our remnants section called the doggy bag.

How does this color compare to the Royal Blue? I don't see that color in IL019 anymore.

Caroline • May 30, 2024

These colors are very similar. I would say Royal Blue is only a touch more of a saturated blue in comparison to Bright Cobalt.

Can you describe the difference between the Bright Cobalt and Ultramarine blues?

Amina • April 29, 2024

The Deep ultramarine is a saturated warm blue, an the bright cobalt is a cooler blue which is less saturated and right than ultra marine. we have samples available for both colors if you would like to compare them in person.

What is the best way to soften bleached ILO20 please?

The quickest way to soften it would be to use our linen softener which you can purchase on the site. Otherwise, repeated washing and wearing the fabric will soften it up over time.

Beautiful but color is not true to photo

The midweight is always so beautiful in hand and drape, but the bright cobalt color is no where near the photo. It's much more of like a denim chambre colour than cobalt. A better description would be "light" not "bright" as the saturation is not what I would call bright. It's very pretty, but not the color that was depicted. It's on me for not getting a swatch, but with sale prices sometimes you make a leap of faith and hope for the best.
