This is a 19" wide twin to the 4C22 Rustic linen line.

Woven out of the same size thread and with the same thread density this IL084 is just woven to be narrow. That means less cutting time for you and you can get to the fun part of using your linen items sooner.

At a heavier weight of 7.1 ounces a square yard this 100% linen is referred to as Rustic due to its more textured look and feel. Durable and perfect for projects that require just a bit more substance.

Yarn Dyed fabrics are made using threads that are dyed separately before being woven. This allows for a larger variety of patterns and designs that stand out from the base fabric color. Design created exclusively for F|S.

Narrow width cloth is great for:

  • Shopping bags
  • Purses
  • Placemats
  • Runners
  • Decorative pillows
  • Kitchen towels
  • Appliance covers
  • Potholders
  • Cushions

The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

what?

I am highly disappointed. This is just run of the mill thin crap linen you can get at a local fabric store. Is this from china? I have all sorts of linen, antique french high end to the trade interior designer, French interior design linen. Easyern European, i have linen from Lithuania, and Portuguese. I washed this by hand to get it thicker at least it puffed up a tiny bit. I was hoping to make tea towels for my store. Absolutely no way.

Our linen is not from China and the origin can be found at our site, As indicated in many reviews this linen makes up into beautiful towels. I will send you an email with the tutorial to see if we can help salvage your project for you. Understood that you are unhappy but there is no need to make the disparaging remark that you have made and ask that you contact our customer service area to resolve any issues amicably.

Beautiful!

I love fresh, fine kitchen towels but didn't know exactly how this little project would go, so I only ordered the minimum and, boy, do I wish I had ordered more! I am watching for this to come back in stock so I can make more towels and maybe a runner. I did have a little trouble making straight cuts (I'm a beginner), so I ended up pulling a thread- I'll start like this next time. I did not hem the sides, and when washed up, it looks just fine. I gave one away as a hostess gift the day after I sewed these up. I'm watching for the fabric to come back in stock so I can make up more!

Fabulous!

I made a set of four tea towels and a table runner from this fabulous linen. AS these are meant to be casual items, I left the selvedge as is and hemmed the cut ends. Done this way, they work up very quickly. It gets softer and more absorbent with washing (NO fabric softeners!). It irons easily and turns out beautifully smooth.

extra special as a fresh bread blanket

I missed the last sale price by a few hours (sick from the second covid vaccine) but called in to order anyway. The sale price was extended and I was very grateful. My husband bakes bread, often we share it with friends. I use these fine linen towels to wrap the loaves. Tied with string they look very homespun.

Very Beautiful!

In person, this woven in Stripe Design is Very Beautiful in this piece! I think a Table Runner would be Beautiful, in addition to DishTowels I plan to make. Would also make a Great Throw Pillow. Reminds me of Kind of a "Modern Take" of a Vintage Inspired design. Stenciling could be added to this piece as well. Either upscale Rennaisance Motifs or the ever popular Farm House Designs. It could go either way. Very versatile design!

It was a dream to cut and sew I had no issue with working with this, I cut all the towels out at once then proceeded to sew ending up with four towels per 3-yards of fabrics with a bit left to create Lavendar Eye Mask.. These items were made for two shops one brick and mortar, and my online shop catherinemadeit1884.etsy.com.

Rapidly becoming a customer favorite. 20 x 30" with triple stitched hems. Most of the linen for my towels comes from Fabrics-Store. Longview Linens.
