This linen is a heavier rustic natural that comes in one solid and various colored stripe patterns, narrow in width for specialty projects such as placemats, napkins, table runners, bath towels, bath and kitchen accessories even apparel and so much more. Close up image shows fabric texture and shrinkage after a wash.

This is a 19" wide canvas weight cloth.

Woven out of thick, short staple, linen thread - this fabric is made to scrunch up after the wash and dry. It shrinks about 18% on the weft of the fabric ( widthwise) and 16% of the warp of the fabric ( lengthwise). This gives it the needed density for home textiles.

At a canvas weight of 9.1 ounces a square yard this 100% linen is a fabulous utilitarian fabric that you will love for its simple rustic beauty and strength. Items made from this fabric will wear like iron and last decades.

Yarn Dyed fabrics are made using threads that are dyed separately before being woven. This allows for a large variety of patterns and designs that stand out from the base fabric color.

Narrow width cloth is great for:

Best dish towels ever!

I bought 11 yards of different colors to make dishtowels as presents. The material is great! After getting a straight line by pulling a thread, I turned up the ends 1/4" and again then machine sewed the hems. The fabric is super crisp out of the box, so it was a cinch to make a crisp hem. Then into the washer with hot water and then the dryer. The fabric shrank, making dense and thirsty towels that are perfect. They out perform terry. I ironed the ones that I gave as Christmas presents to my family but use mine right out of the dryer. Everyone loves them and says how absorbent they are. I'm ordering more fabric to make more!

not suitable for clothing

this is narrow width for which I was not aware. planned to use it for clothing. not wide enough for any useful clothing. wrinkles terribly and iron will not take out the wrinkles even with steam pressing machine.

Love this stripe

I chose this fabric to make seat cushions for the chairs of a covered patio table. I LOVE the colors and the texture of this linen stripe. I expected some shrinkage upon washing and drying and estimated about 10%. However, my fabric shrunk 5" per yard in length and 2" in width. Also, there is quite a strong "organic" smell when ironing while slightly damp, but it didn't remain once completely dry. I will post photos once they are done, but I expect these to turn out just perfect to my expectation.

Amazing

I used this fabric to recover my dining room chairs. It's amazing, the weight and texture is beautiful. I used this for the backs and a solid color for the seats and since this fabric is only 19 wide I didn't have much waste. I love you fabric I cannot say enough good things about it. Thank you
