The perfect alternative for those wanting something just a little heavier than the middleweight, but not quite as dense and textured as our heavier linens. Natural undyed linen that is smooth to the touch and the perfect in-between weight you need for any linen projects requiring just a bit more substance.

The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Beautiful everyday work skirt
Reviewer: Beth

In working on a fairly simple ankle length a-line skirt for everyday wear around my homestead. I'm following the tutorial on the thread for the basic shape, but adding a few features to make it very adjustable for normal weight fluctuation (and child-bearing). I chose the natural, slightly heavier medium weight so it would hold up and not show dirt! It has been lovely to work with so far, although using a rotary cutter or scissors through four layers is not advised! Tough stuff, exactly what I needed. I'll post pictures when it's done.

A good all-purpose fabric
Reviewer: Giana

Using this as a muslin for the Lichen duster pattern from Sew Liberated, I liked it so much that I ended up dying it (Golden Brown from Dharma Trading). My only advice is to pre-shrink by washing/drying twice before cutting, and be meticulous about finishing each piece carefully. It loves to ravel!

Moroccan pants, size 8/10, for gardening purposes and legging alternatives under skirts and tunics. I wanted the slightly heavier and rustic look for homesteading activities. The photo is stretched, the board covered with fabric is supposed to be a square, for reference.
