IL020 Handkerchief Power Pink Softened - 100% Linen Fabric - Light (3.7 oz/yd2), Width 58"
Fresh, ripe pinks like that of POWER PINK Linen streak across many of Willem De Kooning's paintings, creating
shockingly bright shards of color amidst his frenetic expressionist
visions.
A leader in the American Abstract Expressionist school throughout
the 1950s and 1960s, De Kooning's paintings were often based on women,
painted with flurried passages of pink in peach and candy hues that
streak across his canvases suggesting energy, movement, and life.
At a lighter weight of 3.5 ounces this 58 inch wide 100% linen is woven with finer threads to give it a smoother appearance. Referred to as lightweight or handkerchief linen, this fine, but surprisingly sturdy linen brings new meaning to the term "sheer elegance".
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Customer Questions and Answers
how soon will this fabric be back in stock? IL020 Handkerchief Power Pink Softened
I'm sorry we do not have a restock date for this fabric base or colors at the moment.
Is handkerchief weight linen heavy enough for a blouse, or is it see-through?
The handkerchief linens can be sheer in the lighter colors. We recommend getting a small cut or a sample so you can see the sheerness for yourself.
This linen is peach at best. Disappointed.
We're sorry you didn't find this color to your liking, We do our best to photograph the colors accurately, but different screens can throw off the color. If you fabric is unwashed, we will happily accept it for return, just email us for the return details.
this is a nice rose pink - hint of salmon or peach..
This fabric is more peach than the name Power Pink would suggest. I bought it to make a pool robe for a friend who is addicted to Lily Pulitzer, but the color is not nearly as in-your-face as I was expecting, in fact, as Katy points out in her comment, it is pale enough for babies. It is a gorgeous color regardless - I will probably use it for hemstitched napkins and scarves. Deborah Jo's photo is a good representation of the color. Its slightly yellow undertones make it pair better with Tadelakt than plain bleached white.
This shade of pink was not too pink and I love it! It did shrink as expected and I made a pair of lovely bloomer style pants which I am sure I will wear often!
I have not used the fabric yet. Hoping to start a project this weekend. I will say delivery was quick.
I made a baby quilt using the IL020 Power Pink on one side and the IL020 Whisper Gray on the reverse. The colors in this picture look like a beige and green but the actual colors of the linen are accurate to the colors posted in the linen descriptions. I made this quilt for my little granddaughter due in a couple of weeks. I prewashed them per the recommendations and the linen is so soft and such wonderful quality, perfect for a baby! I've purchased different weights and colors of linen from Fabric-Store and have never been disappointed in the trueness to description. You cannot find this quality of linen for this price anywhere else. Fabric-Store is absolutely my favorite!
