Fresh, ripe pinks like that of POWER PINK Linen streak across many of Willem De Kooning's paintings, creating shockingly bright shards of color amidst his frenetic expressionist visions.
A leader in the American Abstract Expressionist school throughout the 1950s and 1960s, De Kooning's paintings were often based on women, painted with flurried passages of pink in peach and candy hues that streak across his canvases suggesting energy, movement, and life.

At a lighter weight of 3.5 ounces this 100% linen is woven with finer threads to give it a smoother appearance. Referred to as lightweight or handkerchief linen, this fine, but surprisingly sturdy linen brings new meaning to the term "sheer elegance".

I bought this and the baby pink at the same time, thinking I would use just a bit of the power pink for a contrast. Both colors are stunning, in fact, this one stands so well on its own I have to order more to make a full garment out of it. Love love love! And of course, the weight and drape of this fabric are dreamy.

Power Pink was the perfect color to make the pillow covers from your pattern collection. I added them to all the other pillows on the bed. I used 4 different linens in the collection of pillows. Quarantine redecorating project.
