IL020 Handkerchief Orange Pixie Softened - 100% Linen Fabric - Light (3.7 oz/yd2), Width 58"
At a lighter weight of 3.5 ounces this 58 inch wide 100% linen is woven with finer threads to give it a smoother appearance. Referred to as lightweight or handkerchief linen, this fine, but surprisingly sturdy linen brings new meaning to the term "sheer elegance".
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

The fabric is beautiful but even as much as I love orange it was just too much for a dress, so I bleached it down to a peach. much more wearable for me.
Beautiful color. I plan on making a top for myself. I normally do not like the color orange but this is more of a neon orange which I love. Became even softer when washed and it did not fade. I Love the Handkerchief linen for all my tops.
Was very pleased with this fabric - it was soft to the touch, closely knit and the color was exactly as shown. Price was really good for the quality of this fabric - would not go anywhere else for linen.
I made boxers for my husband as an experiment. I love this lightweight linen for myself in the summertime. He picked out the color and I embroidered them with a little tropical motif. I didn't know if he would go for this, but he loves them. He says they're very comfortable.

This is a sleeping bag made entirely of scraps left over from other projects. My son asked me to make him a linen sleeping bag, and so I collected all my scraps over the past couple of years and put this together. The reason I am posting it here is Pixie Orange is one of my favourite colours.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.

Tumble dry low.
