Soft, baby blues like LIGHT BLUE were a recurring feature in her art, suggesting hazy, distant skies opening out across an imaginary (or half-remembered) horizon. She demonstrates how this color is striking and commanding enough to be the centre of attention, but it can also be complemented by other similarly soft hues, like pale pink, washed-out lavender, dusty blue or lemon yellow.
At a lighter weight of 3.5 ounces this 58 inch wide 100% linen is woven with finer threads to give it a smoother appearance. Referred to as lightweight or handkerchief linen, this fine, but surprisingly sturdy linen brings new meaning to the term "sheer elegance".
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Please check our 100% Cotton collection art IC008 , it's a very soft fabric. If you interesting to use 100%Linen you can review IL019 medium weight of linen or IL020, light weight of linen. We are offering sample swatches it's a great idea to order swatches , you can check the weight and color of fabric.
Is this fabric 28 count? Is it suitable for hand embroidery?

True blue
Such a beautiful light blue. I was expecting a baby blue, this is bluer. I needed another light weight dress for our hot Texas summers, this is the right color for me. Shouldn't be too see through. Fabrics-store.com always has the best service.

Blue is my favorite color, all shades of it! And this one is really pretty - light pale blue, something like baby blue. The fabric quality is also great - very soft, pleasant to the touch, handkerchief thin. I made nightdresses which I sell on my Etsy shop ChooseLinen. It's flattering bias cut pattern, finished with a cute ruffle. They are sold out now, but I will make more - that's why I just bought more of this fabric! Please stop by and visit my shop!
My favorite color is blue. So when I saw this fabric I knew I had to have it. I will be making a slip for myself to wear under dresses tend to ride up. What is left I will make something for my youngest granddaughter. I love linen! And I love this company!

I think it would be a bit too sheer for me in something fitted and tailored, but the peasant top i made is totally opaque. The drape and hand are good as well.
The sheer blue linen lets light in through the door, and inspired my idea for a backdoor apron. So far as I know this is my own idea, so I claim intellectual property. This fabric is a lovely, pure, pale blue. There is no hint of any other tone to it - it is what I would call a rich powder or pastel blue. I bought .5 yd. from the Doggie Bag and made a scarf which I wear with a natural linen sheath dress for dressier occasions, and also with a tee shirt and my dk. blue jean jacket. It's a gorgeous weight and color I will never tire of. I only wish it was available in the All Purpose Linen too!
Nightgown and robe or duster. Robe is Tina Givens April pattern, version A. Added 4" to length. Can also be worn as a duster/cardigan with jeans. Nightgown is based off the TG Prairie pattern, top section straighten out and overskirt left off. Fun and swirly set in lightweight light blue.

I used my FS LIGHT BLUE Lightweight linen to make this dress. I used the Bluebell Sundress pattern from Flora Child Co. which is one of my favorite sources for patterns.
Made a loungedress. Love this pale blue. I did some decorative stitching on the hems for the first time. The fabric behaved so well. I use polyester thread because cotton draws the seams, heat makes the thread shrink.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
