Deep shades of umber like TERRA were his go-to colors, selected for their earthy, brooding warmth that seems tied to the nature of human experience, in all its painful and contorted wonder.
At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 59 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Warm golden-reddish brown. I bought some plaid fabric IL045 in warm cream and ginger several months ago and hoping to combine it with something like this to make a tunic-pants set eventually.

Updated review. This is the turn out of the fabric. Its a beautiful linen but again alot more "orange" than I had expected. I was hoping for a more rust orange, but I love my dress and will wear it many many times over :)
It's not my work but just wanted to give an idea of the true color. I was debating between this and the spice. I think I should've gone with the spice as I wanted more of a rust dark orange. This is a burnt orange color and it's BEAUTIFUL. I like it but not what I imagined. I'm still thankful for it and will use it. It almost reminds me of the ginger color. This was my first order from here. I found the linen to be more stiff than another shop I ordered from on Etsy but with washing it should soften? The shipping was very quick from Cali to Ohio. I'm thankful! Would order again I believe.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
