At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 59 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

This beautiful fabric is so easy to work with. I am making a large tablecloth, so I washed it and ironed it. It retained it's color in the warm wash I used, it irons so easily, I ironed through 8 yards in just a short while. I didn't finish the sewing so I just draped it on my table----it was beautiful, perfect for Thanks giving day. I will buy other colors of this gorgeous linen. Breath Taking Color
This color is true to it's name! It is as lovely as the red rock in Sedona. It has more pop to it then the picture shows. Honestly if you want to know what color the linen is google a picture of Sedona! So far I have made a front panel for a Viking apron dress out of it. I have another 4 yards waiting to be made into a cote-hardie.
I haven't made anything yet because I can't make up my mind what I want to make. The color is beautiful. The fabric feels luscious.
Luana is a vintage-inspired apron dress that screams summer! Reminiscent of country living, picnics and sea. With its bare back, soft pleats and gathers, it is both relaxed and feminine, showing just the right amount of skin. For this project, we chose our bestselling medium weight linen in this gorgeous clay color. Named after the red rocks of Sedona, it is true to its name! Luana features adjustable straps that cross at the back, lined bib bodice, two large inseam pockets and softly gathered midi skirt. This pattern falls into the “intermediate level” category due to its complicated pocket construction. But this should not scare beginner sewists as we really go through every step with detailed explanations and lots of pictures.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
