ROSE SMOKE’s sweet, tart pink colored Robert Delaunay’s kaleidoscopic art, filling it with the bright freshness of summer.
Delaunay was a leading figure in the early 20th century School of Paris, and his art encapsulated the joyful anticipation of the era, a time when rising industrial change promised a life of danger, thrill and adventure. Alongside his wife Sonia, they spearheaded the spirited styles of Simultanism and Orphism, made from concentric circles and halos of prismatic, transcendent light. Delaunay observed with fascination, “Painting is by nature a luminous language.”
At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 59 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

I am sorry to hear that the color was not as expected or hoped for. I will email you directly on how to return the linen to us.
I bought 10 yards of this linen going by the color on the monitor. What I did receive was more pink than peach. Disappointing, but if I had ordered a sample I would have seen the difference. Beautiful none the less, lesson learned about samples!
My daughter wanted linen sheets for her Twin XL dorm room bed. No one seems to make them commercially so I had her choose a color and I'm going to create. I added 4" to the length of the twin measurements in the bedding pattern. The fabric has washed beautifully. I'm figuring out how to cut out large pieces. Looking forward to sewing this lovely fabric.
Sold out currently, but I hope Fabric Store brings it back, I picked up a doggy bag of this beautiful pastel. I'm combining it with some other pastels to make a braided belt!. I love it with Mauve and the light new shade of lilac. As a larger woman, belts are quite expensive as an on their own accessory. I am finally starting to finish some items for myself... will definitely be doing more belts too! J I Love This Linen!

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
