Fresh, ripe pinks like that of POWER PINK Linen streak across many of Willem De Kooning's paintings, creating shockingly bright shards of color amidst his frenetic expressionist visions.
A leader in the American Abstract Expressionist school throughout the 1950s and 1960s, De Kooning's paintings were often based on women, painted with flurried passages of pink in peach and candy hues that streak across his canvases suggesting energy, movement, and life.

At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 59 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.

The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Pretty in Pink

At first I was a little hesitant to try this pink, but when it arrived I was so glad to have taken the chance! It's lovely, clean and feminine. This linen is a dream to work with. I washed it a couple of times before cutting it out in order to make sure that it wouldn't shrink later on. Taking it out of the dryer just before it was dry and letting it hang free, I didn't have to iron it at all (I love the 'linen' look). What a joy cutting and sewing with this easy to use fabric. Almost no raveling either. I couldn't be happier!

Beautiful, complex pink!

This pink linen is a most beautiful hue. It isn't shocking pink, or baby pink, or anything near gaudy. It is just slightly warm toned, and the threads have ever-so-slightly varying shades. It almost looks like it belongs in the yarn-dyed section. It looks artisan-made and has an ethnic vibe, so it would be perfect for making ethnic style garments. But I'm going to pair it with Blue Heaven and Bleached to make a patchwork quilt.

Wonderful color, gorgeous fabric

I purchased several yards of this linen to use in my sewing room decor, and the warm almost-coral pink is perfect, perfect. Not a blue-based, cold pink, but warm and blushy. I serged the cut ends together then washed it 4 times in very hot water and dried in a hot dryer each time. The fabric now is extremely soft and drapey. My first project with this lovely stuff was to make a fitted quilted cover for my new computer monitor, embroidered by machine. IL019 linens are always fantastic for embroideries, and this fabric is no different. I buy all my linen fabric from Fabrics-Store, and have never ever been disappointed in a purchase.

Natural and vibrant color

This pink has a hint of peach, and is on the brighter side of the pastel spectrum. A beautiful light spring or summer color, that can be used as an accent or for a larger piece and still be somewhat subtle. After 2 washes the fabric is cozy and soft.

I love this summer dress. So easy to wear in our humid Florida weather.

I made these ties and pocket squares for my son's linen and lace themed wedding. They're lovely and we got so many compliments on them. I also made a turquoise one for my husband.

Another item I made with this color, available here in my shop: etsy.com/shop/antaloop This picture shows the color well. It is a very easy fabric to embroider with.

This lighting seems to show the color most accurately. You can see the slight peachy tone to it. I made this tank to be light and airy for gardening and yard work, and it is perfect. The linen is soft and cozy, and the color is just dark enough to hide light stains.
