Nimbus Cloud Linen's
cold blue tone breezes through Joaquin Sorolla's coastal scenes,
filling them with the crisp, invigorating freshness of the Spanish
coast.
Starched fabric and painted stone buildings flicker in and out of
the crisp white air, forming dappled patterns of pastel blue, white and
lilac as fresh and cold as the ocean beyond.
At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 59 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Gourgeous color
I've used this fabric to make a beautiful tower dress with a bias cut collar. It is very sophisticated and elegant and I am pleased with the outcome. Saly, I ordered only a small amount of fabric and would love to be able to have it in my color pallette for future projects, I would love to see it back
When I first pulled this out of the package, it looked white. But it's actually a very pale gray, and ideal if you're looking for a softer, cool white that won't look too stark against brighter colors. I had planned to pair it with metallic silver trim, and they look perfect together.
Good mid-weight fabric with nice drape. The color is lighter than it appears in the photo (at least on my monitor). It isn't pale gray, it's a gray-tinted off-white; sort of an oyster-shell white.
This is the second top sheet I have made with IL019. The first one is in the beautiful Evergreen and has been on my bed all year. This medium weight linen is wonderful for sheets. It's cool in summer and warm in winter. If you ever come up with instructions for a bottom sheet, you will sell me twice as much fabric. Nimbus Cloud is the perfect off white for the decor in my guest bedroom. I know my guests are going to love the feel of linen.

I ordered this on faith to make some curtains and I am so glad I did-- the color is GORGEOUS. It's a silver-toned off-white, just enchanting to look at.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
