4C22 Rustic Golden Grain Fs Premier Finish - 100% Linen Fabric - Heavy (7.1 oz/yd2), Width 57"
Glowing shades of pale yellow like GOLDEN GRAIN were a recurring feature in much of the Dutch-French Post-Impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh’s art. But nowhere more so than in his late series of wheat fields, which convey the low-lying autumn sunlight casting its warm radiance across the vast wheat fields that once dominated the south of France.
It was a subject he returned to again and again from 1888 to 1890, obsessing over the rich tonal variations of yellow as the light slowly shifted before his eyes.
At a heavier weight of 7.1 ounces this 100% linen is referred to as Rustic due to its more textured look and feel. Durable and perfect for projects that require just a bit more substance.
The Premier Finish undergoes a two-step process to give the cloth a luxurious, supple feel right out of the box.
First, we apply a softener to give the fabric a silkier surface. Then, strong blasts of air are blown into the woven cloth. This beats up the fibers to make them softer and mimics the fiber bending process that the fabric undergoes when you've used it a lot.
This finishing process gives the fabric a much softer and more luxurious hand. It will be less prone to deep creases and have less linting. Shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration based on the fabric type ( thread size, count, weave type).

Customer Questions and Answers
Would love to see Golden Olive IL 019 return. Is there a chance?
Beautiful color but I am not showing this is on any schedules coming in so for now I would consider this color retired.
I made a beautiful set of tablecloth, napkins an placemats with a different color. Are there any "matching" fabrics for napkins and placemats to go with this yellow/golden color? 19 inch wide would be truly delightful. Many thanks! Pam
how does this color compare to New Wheat?
The Golden grain is more yellow whereas the New Wheat has more of an orange look. I will send side by side comparisons to your direct email.
When will you have DB IL028 872 back in stock and how close is it to the coloring of 4C22
We are hoping to get more of this in the new year but we do not have an ETA just yet. The color on the IL028 is lighter less grey than the natural 4C22
Will you get straw 4C22 back in?
At this time we are not showing that we are getting this color back in. We have received some new colors in the 4C22 and hope to receive more. Maybe one of those colors will work as well for you as the Straw.
