4C22 Rustic Natural - 100% Linen Fabric - Heavy (7.1 oz/yd2), Width 57"
Natural is the earth made, not dyed, color of the flax plant once it is made into thread. No dyes, no bleach. The only thing that impacts the color of the cloth from one production to the next ( if it is more beige or grey) is the amount of sunshine and rain that particular flax harvest had.
At a heavier weight of 7.1 ounces this 100% linen is referred to as Rustic due to its more textured look and feel. Durable and perfect for projects that require just a bit more substance.

Hi .. I have 15 yards of this wonderful fabric that I ordered from you a bit ago. I'm wondering about two projects. 1) I do aqua-aerobics every morning and I think this would make a great easy to carry and nice rough finish for drying well towel for after my showers at the Club. Do you agree? 2) I would like to make a bedspread or a Duvet cover as well ... any patterns or input of that ? Thank you kindly, holly G
We have free patterns on the site that will work for the projects you have in mind for using this linen. Please take a look here: fabrics-store.com/sewing-patterns?category=Home
This makes wonderful towels for ANY application, be it home or away. You can't ever go wrong with linen towels. They polish your skin and dry you off quickly, plus the linen fabric is naturally anti-microbal. The linen fabric dries very quickly as well. I have made bedspread and blankets out of linen and there is nothing better in hot weather. I get a tiny bit chilly with my ceiling fan on at night and the linen is the best cover up to keep me from being overheated. I am a complete linen convert and have found so many ways to use it! Good luck!!
Hi, I'm looking for Organic GOTS certified Linen. I need this due to what I'm making. Eco-Friendly as well. Due you carry this type of Fabric, if not can you please direct me to who would. Thank you so much. Cathy

7-10% based on our recommended washing instructions which you can find in our help center here support.fabrics-store.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000218543-Linen-Care-Pre-washing-and-Washing-your-Linen
How wide is a Linen The Fabric?
This fabric is 57" wide as listed above in the the fabric specifications.
The color of the linen is darker than I had expected. I want to dye it a more uplifting color of blue instead of the dark brown if that is possible. Any helpful tips for the process would be very much appreciated.
I will email you with a few links that may be helpful with this project.
Where does this linen come from? Does it have certifications about quality and product safety? Thank you

Is there a pattern for the dish towels?
At this time we do not have a tutorial for the dish towels in regular linen. Our in house seamstress would recommend maybe cutting something like 20" x 30" from the washed fabric and hemming. She also recommends using a dish towel you already own as a template to help figure out the best cutting layout based on how many yards you have or will purchase.
is there any way to buy a half yard, like two and a half yards?
Our linen is sold in full yard increments only, unless the item is in the DB section where we sell first quality remnants in various sizes.
I have used this linen for towels, linings for fabric messenger bags, and aprons. It's sturdy and softens nicely with washing. A great fabric for home decor.
Perfect for linen towels. A little rougher than the other colors, but still lovely.
I absolutely love this fabric!! I made some bath sheets and hand towels and now everyone wants me to make them some!
Such a great thick linen! I prewashed, ironed and then cut pieces to size to sew for liners for my sourdough baskets. A breeze to sew and they work beautifully for my intended purpose. Such a cost effective way to many multiples!!
I bought 15 yards at the 38% off special. I've made two light weight blankets; 4 bath towels; a gift set of towels; a set of curtains for my boat's ports; two bread towels; a half dozen hand towels; a couple pillowcases; and I don't remember how many washcloths and other things. I love this material. Everything sewed up beautifully, including the hand and machine embroidery. Such a sturdy material and it keeps getting more drapey (soft) with each washing. At first my husband loved the pillowcases but I thought they were too rough. After a couple wash/ dry cycles I love those too. I'm excited now to keep trying different weights on other projects.
