HONEY BLOSSOM Linens sumptuous pink flutters through Jean-Honore Fragonard's decadent Rococo scenes, tinting ruffled skirts, diaphanous veils, and the blushing cheeks of hopeful young suitors.
Nestled amongst cool, watery greens and dusty blues, this color brings the fresh, peachy glow of spring and summer into his works of art. But it also symbolizes the blossoming of new love between flirtatious youngsters on the brink of adulthood, encapsulating the playful freedom of spirit that defined the Rococo era.

At a heavier weight of 7.1 ounces this 100% linen is referred to as Rustic due to its more textured look and feel. Durable and perfect for projects that require just a bit more substance.

The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Peaches and Cream!

A great shade of linen, it is a peach tone with a bit of pink to me. Light to midrange in saturation, but darker than a pastel. A lovely warm tone that will look great against tanned skin... I made the Basic Linen Shell from downloadable fabrics. Be sure to download some of them, if you haven't already. Classic lines, easy to follow tutorials, and if you, press as directed during, construction, easy success! I'm so happy I discovered the Fabric Store!

A set-in sleeve is the most basic of sleeves and as its name suggests, it is actually set into the armhole of the bodice. Basically, the sleeve and the bodice are prepped and sewn individually and then assembled together at the armhole. A nicely set sleeve gives a flattering and tailored look to any project. A flat-felled seam finish gives sturdy seams and a clean look. Just like with French seams, the raw edges are completely enclosed within the seam with the wrong side looking as good as the right side. It is especially useful when working with linen as it prevents fabric from ravelling and provides a bit of extra strength in the areas where there might be some strain.
