NINE IRON linen's steely, dramatic grey with just a hint of crimson became great swathes of deep shadow in the hands of the painter Thomas Cole, sweeping across America's epic mountain ranges and forming wild, turbulent skies laden with thunderstorms.
His momentous landscapes are a celebration of
America's sublime wilderness during the mid-19th century, before
industrialization took over, invoking the unstoppable force of this
overwhelmingly vast terrain.
A finer quality 5.3 ounce medium weight 58 inch wide 100% linen that is woven with finer threads, and an increased thread count. The higher thread count makes 1C64 shrink less and gives this linen a very smooth and luxurious look and feel, earning it the moniker "luxury linen".
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Used this to make sheets. The fabric pressed and sewed beautifully. The sheets have been a pleasure to sleep on and are holding up well after a months use.
I purchased this linen for some embroidery products. The warp/weft is the same number of threads, and the threads are fine and smooth.

I absolutely love this color. Made a pair of shorts and now long pants. Linen is easy to work with. I do wash and dry hot several times to de-lint & pre-shrink. This place has a great product for the best price. My go-to linen supplier.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
