This particular fabric is a white background with a pink safari theme.

Complimenting colors and motifs are interchangeable, which allows you to create entire collections: bedding and apparel alike.

Timeless designs that will remind you of cherished childhood memories and inspire you to create items for your family that they will pass on to the next generation.

Lightweight, plain weave, 100% cotton PERCALE. This 59 inch wide, 3.6 ounces per square yard fabric has a thread count that was specifically selected to create the ideal balance of durability, breathability, and price.

The cloth is tightly woven using a one over, one under weaving technique that gives you the perfect combination of a crisp hand and smooth surface.

PERCALE is light, crisp, and breathable, making it the perfect fabric for children's garments, apparel, home textiles and of course bedding for everyone including little ones and those of us who are hot sleepers.

Our collection received rigorous Oeko-Tex certification and is a part of the BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) - ensuring that these items are biodegradable, recyclable, and free of harmful toxins or irritants (good for your family and good for the planet). F|S Exclusive designs.

The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

You can expect 3% in the length and 5% in the width using our recommended washing instructions that you will find in our help center support.fabrics-store.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000218543-Linen-Care-Pre-washing-and-Washing-your-Linen

I was so excited to see that you now offer cotton and it seemed to have a high standard of farming practices until I read that its probably or could be gmo cotton. This is very sad, as it sort of kills the idea of natural and clean. So it has pesticides I suspect? thank you

Beautiful

I ordered this because it was so pretty and I was curious. It's just beautiful and so soft and smooth. I used it for a "tummy time'" throw (no more blankets in the crib). I'm doing some big stitch quilting on it and the needle slides so easily through this fabric. Very happy. I'll order again in the future!

Snowball pattern with larger squares to feature this adorable print!

I chose two Percale prints for my projects - the Gingham and the Gentle Safari both in white/pink. The Gingham is a sweet 1/8" check while the Gentle Safari features gorgeous watercolor-style painted pink elephants and flamingoes parading amongst bluish-grey monkeys, zebras, and giraffes. As these cottons are Percale, they have a subtle sheen on the face which lends both a luxurious look and a cool, soft hand-feel. I was also thrilled to learn that these fabrics are certified by Oeko-Tex and the Better Cotton Initiative. I've always been a sustainability-focused and eco-conscious maker with an affinity for natural fabrics, but especially now as a new mom, I try my best to clothe (and make clothes for) my baby in natural fabrics that I know are made with high production standards - meaning toxic chemicals aren't used and there's accountability in environmental footprint.
