I have bought a LOT of linen, and haven't always been happy. THIS fabric was wonderful to work with. It is soft and drapes, it didn't lose much as lint. It was almost too good to make kitchen curtains out of, but the color is just about perfect for that room, so I did make them. Happy I did.
I purchased a yard of this linen to try it and made a pillowcase, with some linen left over (can't wait to make a patchwork quilt with my linen scraps). I am addicted to these luxury dye linens - my son says "mom you got more fabric" when the mail comes, and he rolls his eyes! This is my second pillowcase and I'm now going to start sewing some clothes since I'm now familiar with how easily this comes together. Totally worth the price, and I like that it's not from China, but from Europe.
Pricey yes and well worth it. Held up great after washing. Sews like all the other weights. Darker stripe is more like a charcoal grey, just lovely. Would look nice as pj's.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
