An updated version of a ticking stripe with a dark blue chambray ground that gives this stripe a very unique look and feel.
Yarn Dyed 100% linens are made using linen threads that are dyed separately before being woven. This allows for a large variety of patterns and designs that stand out from the base fabric color.

This fabric is beautiful. I used it to make a lantern shaped skirt from Marcy Tilton/Vogue 8499. As the previous reviewer noted, the threads are very fine and the weave is smooth. That being said, it still has substantial body with very little drape, and holds the skirt shape well. It is slightly sheer. I wear my skirt with leggings, but you might want to line your garment if going without leggings.
This is a smooth, soft luxurious cloth that justifies its higher price. Although it's about the same weight per yard as the "middle" linen, the threads are finer and appropriate for a summer shirt. I bought only a "Doggie Bag" partial yard to use for collar and cuffs, waiting for a sale for a larger amount.
I'm absolutely in love with this linen! It's the perfect weight for a casual summer dress. Dress created using the Fancy Tiger Fen pattern.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
