So Beautiful in its entirety! Exquisite colors! Woven in a natural blend with what looks like a hint of black speckled therein. Just looking at it for now! Not sure I will launder it? Would be a Gorgeous simple top, with Black off cut hemline simple skirt!
I bought 1 & 1/2 yard of this from doggie bad to make a pair of shorts. The is the most beautiful multi colored linen that almost looks like a micro check of brown and natural linen. I used the Akira pattern and reduced length for shorts. They turned out great. Love the pattern and will buy this fabric again for a jacket! I highly recommend this fabric
I bought a 1 yard piece of this from the "Doggie Bag", because I am trying to accumulate larger samples of the different products available from Fabrics Store. This piece is truly the most beautiful yarn dyed specimens I have ever bought. It has the weight and stiffness that I like, less rustic than classy. Not sure what I could make with this fabric yet. I will order as soon as I've decided. Whatever it is, it will be very special, as this fabric dictates.
I bought some of this because I was mystified by the difference between the sample photo and an uploaded photo from a customer. It is different from both of them, but incredibly striking. The fabric is composed of 2 different thread colors - a dark brown and a very pale creamy yellow. The combination is gorgeous, but it reads more pale yellow than beige. One of the more unusual linens I have purchased here, and I'm glad I did.
such a beautiful fabric - using for home decor projects but may have to order more - would be great for clothing or a tote bag also
This is beautiful linen and the shorts turned out great. I plan on buying more to make the Paola jacket.
This is Victoria Jones Collection pattern #110, the Ranch Shirt. I used ILO44-234 for the body and IL051-879 for the contrast. This is a substantial but supple fabric, very subtle even though it is woven with cream, yellow, putty and brown. It is a complex neutral, quite distinctive, and reminds me of " grass-cloth" which was popular in the early 60's.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
