I love this fabric!

I washed and dried the fabric to make sure it was preshrunk. I made a mandarin collar shirt and it turned out perfectly. I got a sample in advance, and I found the fabric color to be exactly accurate from the website. I love the chambray effect, and the fabric is surprisingly lacking in wrinkles.

Genius!

This fabric is great! The photo is a pretty good representation of the color, and as the previous reviewer mentioned, the weft threads are white. What this does is soften the red to the look of a "weathered" chambray, and the result is just genius. I didn't want a vibrant colored fabric, but I did want something more interesting than a solid (no matter how beautiful the color, sometimes you want a print or a yarn-dyed stripe, you know?) and this is perfect. Of course, the Premier Finish adds a luscious touch (pun intended) Very pleased!

Disappointed in color

The fabric is totally wonderful, but I am disappointed in the color. The red is very washed out, because all of the weft threads are white. I find myself constantly wanting to turn it over to see the more vibrant "right side", but of course both sides look the same. For some reason I was not able to select less than 5 stars, so the 5 stars are for the fabric, but I would give 3 stars to the color.

Finished Projects

This fabric made gorgeous napkins for the Christmas table (or any time really!). This photo is after they had been used and washed - the fringe didn't knot up at all :-)
