Washed and dried twice and the hand is lovely. The color is between beige and gray. I have made many pairs of summer capri pants with this weight linen and love them.

I Like this fabric

I have ordered this in the past to make napkins. The fabric is soft post washing and of good quality. However, my last order is of a different shade and does not match the previous orders. I am not able to comp- lete this set of napkins because of the mismatch. Very disappointed.

The fabric itself is lovely; soft with a nice drape and feel after only one washing. The color however is very different from the picture. It's definitely a khaki/tan color with very little (if any) gray to it. The name is misleading.

First time buyer. Lovely fabric. Very impressed with the speed of delivery - 9 days to deliver to fairly remote regional Australia! The colour is not at all as expected. A reviewer had said the colour is close to light khaki. I'd have to agree. No grey tint as expected from a colour described as aluminium. It looks browner than the gorgeous natural I also bought. This won't put me off buying more fabric though. Fabulous materials and service. Thank you.

This fabric is absolutely gorgeous. It has a very soft hand after only two washings and sews up beautifully. I do not know what the problem is with people saying that it is a miscolor. I do not have a fancy monitor and computer. I have a simple smartphone. On my smartphone the color is a khaki/tan or as one person described it, a medium ecru. The actual fabric looks almost exactly the way it appears on my telephone's screen. If the color is very important to you, order swatches. They are free. You can get them in just a couple of days and you can get as many as you want. I always order swatches. This is an absolutely beautiful fabric, and it seems to change color depending on whether it's under natural light or artificial light. It takes on a slightly more grayish tone under artificial light. So beautiful!

In the vintage linens world, this color is called a medium ecru. I've been looking for this color forever and I'm so glad I finally found it. This shop never disappoints!

The color is quite a bit different than the online \"swatch\" - but that's what real swatches are for. Other than that, I feel blessed to have a source of great linen - the selection & prices can't be beat at this site.

Your fabric is beautiful! I bought this to make sheets because another customer commented the color was more khaki. In natural light this is khaki, under bedroom lights, it appears to be dark gray. Lovely fabric no matter what color it is.

I purchased this for pillowcases and it's beautiful. My monitor is accurate and the swatch on the site is definitely not gray! There are discrepancies among monitors and computers. Always order swatches!
