IL019 BLEACHED FS Signature Finish - 100% Linen - Middle (5.3 oz/yd2) - 1.50 Yards
Sale price: $14.16 per item (20% off)
Only 8 in stock
This off-white color is achieved by "stripping" the natural color out of flax. You are left with a very soft white shade.
At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces, this 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.
Our FS Signature Finish was developed exclusively for us using a special "Hot Wash" process that makes this linen super soft with a comfy, classic look you'll love at first sight. As a Bonus, this process removes almost all of the initial shrinkage(<3%), giving you more fabric to get your projects done. This finish makes the linen as soft as butter. Yep, 100% linen that feels and drapes and sews as no linen you have ever encountered.

After weeks of seeing ads for this linen....I took the plunge and purchased 3 yards of IL019. It arrived today and I am blown away with the quality and softness. I'm making a night shirt for my sister and myself. I'll definitely not hesitate to buy lots more linen from FS.com. Oh...and the shipping was fast with zero issues!
I decided to make a historical shift to wear under my wool Norse dress thats itchy. It was 100% hand stitched & felled with a whip stich. This fabric softens w/ washing & holds up well as of 9 months of washing (12-2020.) I love my shift for wearing to bed and under modern long dresses for added warmth without sweating alot. The weight is perfect so no one sees through the fabric but it still breathes in summer which I never get with a cotton poly or a cotton that thick. Well worth the money although I'm sad it shrank when my husband accidentally was put in the drier so my wrists and ankles show.
I bought 15 yards to make a set of queen sized sheets with 2 pillow cases. Shrinkage was minimal after two wash/dry cycles and pressing, no more than 3%. There were clouds of lint, and the edges frayed enough that I zig-zagged all cut edges before construction. I fitted the bottom sheet to our mattress, putting elastic all around through a casing, and made the top sheet wider than store-bought. The central vertical flat-felled seams aren't noticable while in bed. These sheets are delicious to sleep on! They're soft, warm or cool as needed through the night, and just textured enough to feel good. What is life without a little texture? There were 30 yards' worth of narrow leftovers. I've dyed some a gorgeous coral color, and am adapting a pattern, anticipating a lovely shirt.
Well.......I did a pre-wash of all the yardage I bought expecting to measure it again and there would be less, but no. I used the hottest water my house has and woolite, dried it within an inch of it's life at least twice and it didn't even wrinkle (beside what linen does). I happen to like that texture. Now....lint....oh my goodness, but I can make my duster now and not worry it will shrink to a midi:)
I used the Signature Finish Bleached middle weight to make luscious curtains & bed sheets. Tip: I basted the hem of the curtains length to be 1/2 inch off the floor. After hanging for 3 days the length of the curtains grew longer by 1.5 inches ! Thankfully I anticipated the 'growth' and could easily re-do the hem. The Signature finish is wonderful ! I wish there were more colors in this finish.
I'm making a black linen dress for my daughter to wear to work. Will send a picture when it's finished. This fabric is awesome! I especially live the way it washes, the way it drakes and how it moves with a beautiful flow around the person wearing it. I've bought more, in 3 colors
I bought this for my daughter to make some tye-dye scarves. It's her first experience working with linen. They are turning out beautiful.
My first sewing experience with linen. I used this to make the Jade blouse. I love it! Very easy to work with.
I received my order for this linen quickly and was so pleased to get it. The linen was soft to begin with but I washed, dried and ironed it and it is still so very soft and has a wonderful drape. I'm not sure what I'll sew with it yet but I'm so glad to have found a place to get good, reasonably priced linen. I'm sure I'll be back for more!!
My primary use for it is to line our HEPA filter masks. The HEPA filter material is scratchy and irritated my husband's skin. So, I line them now with your bleached linen. It is so soft that there are no more complaints and the masks remain at the highest filtration rate possible, 99.9%.
I love linen but there is a hefty price associated with good quality linen. This linen feels amazing and I ordered more than the 3 yards offered since the price was great. I'm glad I ordered more. Can't wait to sew with this.
I have purchased 6 yds. of this fabric in the last few weeks and I love it. The price is amazing and the quality is really lovely. It sews so nicely. I have to say that the service department is also so helpful and my delivery was really fast. I have since purchased another of their fabrics ( bayou blue) and it is great too. Ive already used up all of the blue and half of the natural linen. I'm sure I will buy more.
Having been a chef my whole career this title is my highest rating! This fabric was my first "test" purchase, 6 yards and am I glad I got that much. I've been making dinner napkins, finished piece 20x20" with deep mitered corners. They are beautiful with matching thread, stunning but after three I decided to stitch the final seam which shows on the front in royal blue. Very cool. I hope to try a set with all sorts of colors just for some excitement. The fabric shifts a bit When your cutting but what linen doesn't.
I have not yet sewn this fabric, but I loved it at first sight! It is 60 inches wide, which is amazing. I can't wait to dive in.
I've been using linen to make duvet covers, liners for baskets, bread bags, etc. I love the look and texture, but most of all, working with linen brings me back to my 'farming' roots. My Dad was a 3rd generation farmer. He used to plant flax & some of my best memories are of him taking me around the fields to check the progress of the crops. For some strange reason, I was very proud that flax was represnted along with wheat, barely, oats, mustard seed, canola and alfalpha! Now whenever I cut into a piece of linen to fabricate something beautiful and servicable, I think of happy years growing up on the Alberta prairies..... and my pioneer roots! Thanks for the inspriation!!!
Bought 10 yards - arrived in less than a week - very soft, quality product! I love that it is 58" wide! Have not had a chance to work with it yet - looking forward to finally creating something for myself!!
I just bought 5 yards of this linen, so I could make curtains. The linen already had a satisfying hand when it arrived, and washing/drying it made it even softer. I'm thinking I may need more for some natural dye bed linens.
I love this particular linen and plan to make a cami top and pj bottoms for myself. I have spent the pandemic time from March until present sewing linen clothing and home items. So glad I found this site.
I am not a great seamstress. Never had lessons and everything I know I learned from books. Linen has always been something I didn't like because it was too expensive and didn't drape well. But I wanted to do some fabric painting so started to look up linen again. When I found this site, I had to try it. I'm so glad I did. This linen is beautiful. I haven't done anything with it yet but it is softer than I have experienced linen to be.
I purchased this linen in Dove as well as this lovely cream color. I love sewing with this fabric. It drapes so well, and the price is amazing. I am so happy to have discovered this shop, as well as the free patterns.
I thought I'd made a mistake when I first saw this. We'd just come back from living overseas and I opened this up and thought, "oh no! This is never going to work! The weave is too wide. It's too scratchy. This is not what I wanted." I was quite disappointed. But it was well past the thirty days, because I'd ordered it when we were still overseas. So, I thought I'd just wash it up in warm water and dry on medium heat and see if it would shrink it up a bit. Oh, my goodness. It's like a different fabric! The weave appears much tighter now. It has softened considerably even after 1 wash and though it's still a little scratchY I have full confidence it will get better with each wash. I'm so looking forward to making an armistice blouse from this, and will be ordering the IL20 for a lighter weight Gibson girl style blouse. I'm so glad I didn't just take things at first appearance and gave this a chance.
I love the feel of this fabric, and even though I found it somewhat difficult to work with, the end result was worth it. The fabric tended to wriggle as I was trying to cut it out and assemble it - next time I will starch it first to make it more stable. The softness and sheen is very beautiful.
I have ordered several pieces from the doggie bag, and lived this one from the beginning. I was caressing it every time I sat down at my sewing machine because it's so so so soft. Finally made my daughter a top (3T strap peplum) with less than 0.4 yards . I loved working with the IL019 FS signature finish! It irons and sews so smoothly. Highly recommended!!
I am new to linen but this was a royal introduction! This signature finish fabric is absolutely beautiful. I dyed it using avocado pits into a gorgeous vintage pink and made a baby quilt along with a pillow sham. Such a special project but it was easy and fun because the material was so easy to work with. Word of warning: linen is addictive!
Such a beautiful fabric, but like mentioned in other comments, it can be see-through in the wrong lighting. I highly recommend 2-layers or nude colored under garments.
This is my favorite of the now many items I have ordered from the Fabrics Store. The color is creamy and beautiful, the hand is soft and a with a nice balance between drape and body. I have made a light summer jacket and will make summer tops. This is smooth enough to be sheets or pillow cases.
This is my third order of linen and I must say that the fabric is beautiful, soft, and far and above any linen I have purchased in the past. I will continue to order linen as my budget allows! I have plans to make several pieces for my wardrobe as well as for my daughter. I also plan to make napkins for dying - well for my daughter! She loves using natural dyes and is looking forward to this project.
I'm a sewing beginner and I made this into the Agustina linen tee and it turned out so lovely! I just ordered more and Have several patterns in my queue for it! I plan to dye some of the finished garments with fiber reactive dyes and can't wait to see how they turn out! I'd love to make this into a double sided linen blanket for summer nights when the comforter is too hot. Uh oh, I think I've developed a linen addiction.
This was the first piece I purchased from Fabric-store.com. It took the black fiber reactive dye beautifully, and was a dream to sew. It remains my favorite item of clothing, never needs ironing, very soft and drapes charmingly.
Sews up beautifully, very comfortable fabric. The optic white is very white.
I bought 15 yards at the introductory price to make a king size duvet cover. I pre-washed it just in case, and didn't notice any shrinkage. The duvet cover came out amazing. It feels super luxurious and looks fantastic. I have a bit over 3 yards left to treasure for a special project. I bought some of the IL019 softened linen around the same time. Both softened and signature finish are great quality and lovely to sew with, but signature finish is definitely smoother, softer, and less wrinkly. It's perfect for bedding, which I wanted nice and soft right away. I think the softened linen will end up similar feeling with time and use. I'll probably stick to buying the signature finish in the future, totally worth a little more per yard.
I absolutely loved this fabric. It is soft and the color is gorgeous. I made a dress from it and had to double the fabric on top so it wasn't see thru. The bottom called for a basting stitch so it was not as are through since it was pulled together. Anyway, the dress is perfect except that in the wrong light the bottom may be a bit see thru just on the bottom half. I just wear nude undies and don't worry about it!. Next time I will probably order the heavy and hope that it is a bit thicker so I won't have to double the top or worry about it being see thru
This is exactly what I had hoped for. It has a wonderful hand and washed up beautifully. I ordered more in different colors and also two other weights/styles.
This is the best linen I have worked with; I have been seeking a good linen at a good price and this is it. The fabric has a nice feel that is not stiff or scratchy in any way. It doesn't leave a lot of threads flying about when you serge the seams, and I recommend it highly and I consider myself lucky to have found this source of linen fabric.
This is the best linen I've ever used. Easily!
Loved the linen. It came quickly. I plan to make two shams with it. I washed it and it is more beautiful and very soft. Very happy with my purchase.
I love this fabric. Will be ordering more. Looking forward to making a dress.
This was my first time working with linen and it is LOVELY! I made two shirts and I love them. I really want to build an environmentally friendly (handmade) wardrobe and I will definitely be back to buy more of this!
I plan to dye this indigo this weekend and will then use to make a dress out of the Cameron pattern, I think.
The washed and softened fabric feels wonderful to touch. The texture seems a little transparent, though. The color is clean and warm. Absolutely lovely!
This weight of linen is perfect for heirloom sewing. The pinstitching and lace were so beautiful with this fabric. I plan to do more.
I've prewashed this and it came out very well with miminal wrinkles. Can wait to use it for a blouse and some linen towels.
This fabric is beautiful. Can't wait to start making dishtowels out of it so that I can embroider on them. I think my clients will love them.
Bought this to make a bedspread. Haven't made it yet. Decided I need more to make a different type of spread. Can't wait to get it made.
I love love love this linen, so many ideas came to mind on this one when I got it but I haven't had time to sew with it yet. I will get to it very soon and I know for sure I will be ordering a lot more than the original 6 yards. I can see the drapes already flowing and the cool summer clothes. Thank you for such beautiful fabric.
I just received my order today (I placed AND received my order in only 4 days. Amazing!) and I am blown away by this linen. This is hands down my new favorite fabric and will be the only linen that I purchase for my small shop going forward. The quality and the softness of this linen surpasses any other that I've ever purchased. The price (I did only pay the discounted introductory price) is unbelievable for the quality of the product that you'll receive. Even at the regular price this is a steal! I'm completely sold and I am beyond thrilled that I found fabrics-store.com.
I have only made one project so far with this. I made my brother and his wife linen hand towels for Christmas and embroidered on them... I sewed them all by hand and they came out great. I've never worked with linen before and am looking forward to doing more with the rest of the fabric I bought!
I love linen and I already love, love, love THIS fabric. I've washed it and it's neatly folded on my sewing table. I touch it, stroke it and sometimes hold it up to rest my head on it. I think I'm going to make a pair of summer pajamas and will soon look at patterns.
This fabric was so perfect for an updated version to my old, old, old, ugly, dingey 1970's hooded lightweight jersey mid length robe that I cried for while taring it apart to use as a pattern. I am so pleased with my new linen maxi (longer) version, even after 4 washings it is absolutely divine to wear. I now know I can do anything if the will is present. Thank you for a wonderful fabric.
I used this fabric to make a top bedsheet. The fabric is absolutely lovely and it feels luxurious. I initially bought 3 yards from their introductory offer and liked it enough to buy another 3 yards for the top sheet. That was perhaps a bit risky given dyelot problems but the consistency was great! I wanted to try linen to see if it would be cooler than cotton and I think it is! I haven't been tossing aside my covers at night, which is a real plus. This premium softened linen, as suggested in the directions, really does put off a lot of lint when washed before sewing, but I have no complaints after that. I have bought "softened" from these folks and I also have used this premium. I like the "softened" but the premium, in my opinion, feels like luxury.
I received IL019 BLEACHED FS Signature and immediately loved the feel. I've washed it, came out great. I plan on making a couple of blouses. Love, love linen!
Love this fabric! The texture is soft to touch, very flowing. Can't say enough about it!!!!
When I received this fabric, I thought it felt absolutely yummy. Very soft and not stiff like most linen feels. I have not had a chance to sew with it yet but I am really looking forward to making a dye bath and getting started!
Marie I believe that's the Ogden cami by true bias
Anyone know the pattern that Margaret used to create her lovely thin strap a line white cami (pictured sideways in the "post your work")
Purchased this for some tops. Hand dyed and the colors picked up super nice. This has a wonderful drape, washes nicely, irons well, super soft and comfy. This will be my garment go to. Would also make nice towels, tablecloth, pillowcases, sheets, etc.
This linen is fantastic! I already prewashed and dried it. It's so soft unlike other linen I have used that have never softened up. I have been sewing most of my life and have never come across a linen that is so comfortable. Can't wait to make my garments!
I think this is a very versatile and useful fabric! It is both weighty and soft which makes it great for several uses. I thought the price was a lot at first but it is proving to be worth it!
I used 2 yards of this wide fabric to shibori dye with Dharma fiber reactive dye. I am extremely pleased with the results, so ordered more.
I got this with the 3 yard deal they offered. It is a lovely weight. Washed and pressed beautifully. Used it for the Quick and Easy Tee on the blog. Everything came out just perfectly. It is a pleasure to sew with something as soft and fine as this. Can't wait to wear outside, since it is so cool and comfortable.
Haven't sewn with this fabric yet, but prepping it - washing and ironing has been dreamy. Its a great quality linen at an amazing price. Also, it came in the mail quickly!! I already have several other colors in my cart now that I know how lovely it is!! Thanks
I just received my linen, so haven't made anything with it yet. but the linen seems lovely. Delivery was incredibly speedy too. Thanks!
I just received this Linen. It has a very nice feel and appears to drape very well. Will buy more soon!!
I love the fabric but I'm in the process of moving so I haven't had a chance to use it.
So beautiful I don't want to cut into it. Definitely will purchase more.
Just got my yardage of IL019 BLEACHED FS Signature Finish linen. Oh, my. It is incredibly luscious. I cannot wait to make a gorgeous blouse.
just fabulous fabric
The fabric arrived yesterday, and when I pulled it from the packaging the first thing I noticed was the texture. Soft, smooth, wonderful to the touch. I purchased the fabric to make a nightgown, and I wanted something with a bit of weave to embroider on. I may skip the embroidery as I am looking forward to wearing it sooner than later. I will be buying some heavier weight fabric to make a tunic top, balaclava, and loose leggings to wear under my armor as I need something exceedingly breathable to keep me from overheating. Thanks so much for your wonderful products.
I needed window treatments to warm up a dark east-facing dining room; this bleached linen with a tinge of yellow does the trick for counter-acting natural blue light. It's almost as if the curtains capture the light and project it into the room. The dining area feels about 2 feet bigger than it did before. I used a 4mm felling foot to join the panels and to hem the edges perfectly. Two passes down each seam created a beautiful self-fabric "ribbon" to dress up the panels. Washed and pressed, the linen is absolutely beautiful. Couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out!
I am very happy with this linen purchase....it is very soft, sews up so nice and is best of all not too sheer to wear without an underlayer. I made a tunic with eyelet trim at hip and sleeve hem.
I was looking for linen for Tina Givens clothing patterns. I was directed here. Purchased the 5 yd minimum of white, washed and dried it and it was perfect. Soft and just a bit crushed. I have made a dress ,and now I am making a two-layered top. Want to get some in Black now and maybe another color. So pleased.
It's so hard to find good fabric locally anymore. I bought this linen when it a 5-yard trial deal. I am so happy with it that I started sewing for myself again. Since then, I've ordered more linen, in different colors and weight, it's a new addiction :) It's soft and comfortable to wear, easy to sew and has a nice texture.
I was lucky enough to purchase this as an introductory offer. When it arrived I didn't work with it right away, then I decided to use it to create a slip to wear under a lightweight dress I made with a previously purchased linen. I can't wait to make something else to wear from it feels really good.
I've purchased five yard sale, and I'd pondered awhile to decide what I wanted to make with this fantastic fabric! I wanted to sew and make something that will be handed down to my one and only daughter, then for my one and only granddaughter from our only son. After much thought, I decided on making two summer blankets. The fabric is too nice to make clothes for just one person. I ended up with the two twin-long summer blanket/sheet. It turned out perfect, if I do say so myself. One is for my husband, the other, yours truly. I have crocheted laces, a border trim and it looks fabulous. My husband and I use it every night. His is blue trim, mine is green. My husband and I will be enjoying this beautiful linen fabric summer treat for a very long time. I'm attaching couple of photos just to give all of you an idea.
The biggest issue that I have found are several fairly large slubs in the weave and I am worried that they will affect the durability of the fabric. I love that this fabric does not have a selvage-to-selvage fold as most others do. I do wish that it was cut straight on the grain, but it was pretty straight. It had a strong chemical odor, but the odor came out in the first wash. I love how this fabric gets a soft look while using it rather than creasing like a rumpled up mess. The color is similar to French vanilla and has a lovely warm quality that I find more flattering to wear than stark white.
I used my linen to make a pair of drawstring pajama pants. So cool feeling and comfortable.
I bought this linen to make some Braies and an undershirt. it's soft and really good for it. Doesnt shrink either and feels WAY better than any premade garnments I got online.
This linen has a beautifully soft, smooth feel to it like butter. It is perfect for bed linen and clothing. I have been searching for a while for the perfect linen to make sheets and pillow cases .... this is the best. I love the luxurious feel. Can't stop touching it! I will also make full length bedroom curtains, it has excellent drape.
Over many years I have probably purchased the majority of your types of linen. I love every one and each has its own use. This linen is just the softest, most divine quality in every way. With prices and shipping so fair, you remain my go to source. I recommend you to all my sewing friends. Service is like NO other! Thank you!
I took advantage of the 5 yard special. This is beautiful fabric and I especially like the soft white color. The signature finish is nice and soft. Don't know what I'm going to do with it yet, but. . .
The only drawback I've ever found with linen is that it can be a little stiff at first--maybe at second, too. This felt good right out of the package, and after washing, its softness and drapiness was even better. I like the soft white color, too. Haven't decided what to make yet--new medieval smock? Nightgown? Regency chemise? 18th century under-petticoat? Edwardian garden party dress? Decisions, decisions.
Lovely color & weight. A joy to work with.
I've been wanting to try this linen and took advantage of special price for 5 yards. Wow! It's lovely fabric, speedy delivery, great price and wonderful service. Will be ordering again and have shared site with friends with hearty approval! Thank you again!
:) Thank you so much! We are glad you like the fabric - do share pictures with us.
I purchased exactly enough of this fabric for curtains. How much shrinkage can I expect?
Hi Sara, Because this fabric has gone through a process to get it to this softness - the shrinkage is under 3%
I'm making pants and a tunic out of it. Not finished yet, but it is sewing and pressing beautifully. I will post a picture when I'm done
I used this to make curtains for my bedroom. It was easy to work with and sewed up nicely. I made three tucks at the hem, and the weight made for a nice presentation.
I call this heirloom quality linen, it will be fabulous for wearing apparel as well as anything I want to embroider. Love the feel, the drape, the color, which I would call ivory. Thank you.
I just love the quality of the linen. I haven't yet decided what to make with it, but whatever it is I know will get tons of compliments.
I love this fabric. I bought 2 yards so I could make a couple long scarves/shawls for Christmas gifts. The color is a very nice off white &. the weight perfect. It's easy to sew also. I used the tutorial from this site to make this, but I have to say, raveling the ends to make all of those fringes, was very time consuming!! I absolutely love how it turned out though, so just ordered some fabric in Fog to make myself one.
This Signature Finish linen is luxuriously soft with a lovely drape. I made the dress from a slightly modified pattern-McCall's 7116. I'm thinking if I iron it and pair it with some nice jewelry and heels, it could also be a little dressier. If only the Signature Finish was offered in more colors...blues and greens, hint, hint!
I absolutely loved this fabric. It is soft and the color is gorgeous. I made a dress from it and had to double the fabric on top so it wasn't see thru. This outfit is my definition of comfortable, stylish, and practical. My perfect uniform! With my love for minimalist clothing and earthy tones, I think the combination of the patterns and fabric works really well. The shirt is the Agustina Boxy top in Bleached Signature Finish and the free pattern can be found here: blog.fabrics-store.com/2019/06/25/agustina-boxy-top-tutorial/
Channeling the minimalist spirit of a modern woman, the Noa shirt is a modern classic. This simple shirt combines relaxed silhouette with classic tailored styling, like a point collar, sleeve cuffs and a back yoke. One of the most foundational and versatile pieces of any wardrobe, it can be dressed up or down so easily and pairs really well with just about anything. Made out of our finest linen, it'll get softer and softer with every wash. Sharpen your sewing skills and make a worthwhile addition to your handmade wardrobe!
When you think of quintessentially summer dresses, a camisole sundress instantly springs to mind. With its iconic spaghetti straps and bare shoulders look, it is a kind of dress you'd want to wear on those hot summer days when you feel like wearing as little as possible. Our Luna pattern is a classic camisole sundress thin spaghetti straps, semi-fitted lined bodice, side zipper and a gathered skirt. It also features two handy patch pockets that give it a relaxed feel. Cut from our Signature hot washed bleached medium linen, it is super soft and comfy and has a magic power of reflecting light and keeping you cool.
Lucia is a flowy, feminine sundress that adds romance to your look with a flirty faux-wrap front, spaghetti straps and a cinched drawstring waist. Its best assets are the plunging neckline and narrow straps that show a bit of skin on a hot day. There's something about crisp white linen that just screams summer. The fresh hues, the cooling effect on a warm day, the way white looks coupled with tanned skin... all good things that make a little white dress an absolute go-to for any occasion.
The closest to a "not moving" picture I could get out of the kid ( probably why we don't have many photos of finished boy garments lol). IL019 Bleached signature finish for his overalls. Front, side and back pockets for all the important stuff - pebbles, cars, sticks. Dry on the hanger to avoid ironing :)
Having a Flat-Felled Foot (felling foot) is worth the investment when working with your linen... no pinning or ironing necessary! Huge time-saver. Two passes down the edge and you have a completely reversible hem that looks absolutely perfect from either direction. Here, I used the felling foot to make a self-fabric "ribbon" hem at the fabric's edge for subtle interest and contrast of the light to dress up the curtain a tiny bit.
Five from five!! I made 5 tops from the five yard sale on this fabric! Made two of this top, two of another style top, and one of yet a third style top! Three of these tops have ruffles and the camis are partially lined! Love the softness and relative opaqueness of this fabric such that they can be worn without an underlayer!
Last night I finished the bridal shower gift for my friend's daughter. I had never sewn with linen before, so this was a learning experience, too. I truly hope she likes these 6 dinner napkins made from IL019 CRIMSON. I was hoping for more of a cranberry hue to it -- but it is a truer red (also pretty).
See "Sleeping Well" review. Loving these sheets.

Super soft and it does practically sews itself. Made the Agustina top with it and I can't wait to make more tops and dresses with it. Perfect for the hot Hawaiian weather!

Beautiful fabric.

a dress made with FS BLEACHED Signature Finish Linen

I used IL019 BLEACHED FS Signature Finish to make this baby quilt first dyeing with avocado pits. Beautiful fabric which took on the color evenly. This finish is so soft and has a gorgeous stone wash look which is so appropriate for any baby projects. I'm a happy camper :)

Luna Camisole Sundress. A single layer of fabric can show undergarments in the wrong lighting. Otherwise, I want to make several garments in this fabric.

IL019 BLEACHED FS Signature Finish - 100% Linen - Middle (5.3 oz/yd2)

Dharma Hot Black on bleached middle linen. Just gets softer, drapes beautifully. Take it out of the dryer when it is not quite dry and hang up, no need to iron.

This is a dress/nightgown hot off the machines. I can't wait to wear it.

It does what you want and irons beautifully

I'll be buying more. Love this linen

A baby romper and dress with FS Bleached Mid Weight Signature Finish Linen. I have always loved making clothes for my daughters and love the look of linen! I am considering adding an element of macrame to the garment because I love combining textures in the things I create.

Love this soft linen in the perfect cream color.

I absolutely adore this fabric and it dyes beautifully!

Linen doesn't just look amazing with your Farm House look... it also enhances Mid-Century decor as well.

East facing dining room curtains illuminated from very little sunlight help brighten the room naturally.

IL019 signature finish white linen tunic with eyelet trim. Love this fabric!

I bought this linen on a whim because it was on sale. It was a 5-yard minimum purchase. I haven't made anything for myself in at least 30 years, but I found the perfect pattern for this gorgeous linen and I made this top. I have 2 yards left! Oh, the possibilities!

Perfect to for any wearables I made the top of this slip.

Nightgown with lace trim made from this linen.

Made one of this.

Made two of these lined camis

Five from five!! I made 5 tops from the five yard sale on this fabric! Made two of this top, two of another style top, and one of yet a third style top! Three of these tops have ruffles and the camis are partially lined! Love the softness and relative opaqueness of this fabric such that they can be worn without an underlayer!

Linen is super soft. made a pair of cutlotte pants. very comfortable. Happy with this linen.

Last night I finished the bridal shower gift for my friend's daughter. I had never sewn with linen before, so this was a learning experience, too. I truly hope she likes these 6 dinner napkins made from IL019 CRIMSON. I was hoping for more of a cranberry hue to it -- but it is a truer red (also pretty).

blouse with pleat front

beautiful fabric, sewed and embroidered easily. this is the top of a pair of pyjamas.

I bought this fabric to experiment with dyeing it. It does beautifully. It is more loosely woen then I like for quilting, but it will make lovely table linens and I am experimenting with using it in a quilted jacket.
