4C22 Rustic Pale Green Fs Premier Finish - 100% Linen Fabric - Heavy (7.1 oz/yd2) - 0.50 Yard, Width 57"
At a heavier weight of 7.1 ounces this 100% linen is referred to as Rustic due to its more textured look and feel. Durable and perfect for projects that require just a bit more substance.
The Premier Finish undergoes a two-step process to give the cloth a luxurious, supple feel right out of the box.
First, we apply a softener to give the fabric a silkier surface. Then, strong blasts of air are blown into the woven cloth. This beats up the fibers to make them softer and mimics the fiber bending process that the fabric undergoes when you've used it a lot.
This finishing process gives the fabric a much softer and more luxurious hand. It will be less prone to deep creases and have less linting. Shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration based on the fabric type ( thread size, count, weave type).

Customer Questions and Answers
This appears to closely resemble Eucalyptus, at least on my phone screen. Is it actually pretty close?
These colors are very different with the Eucalyptus being quite green in comparison to the grey leaning green. We recommend getting samples so you can see the color accurately in person.
Is the rustic/ heavy linen suitable for making a blouse or would it be a bit too stiff and heavy?
4C-22 Rustic heavy linen is 7.1oz, at can be suitable for blouse , but probably will be a little to heavy . We recommend to use IL019 medium weight 5.3oz, this weight will be great to sewing the blouse.
On my screen, this looks more like a muted darker green than a light green. How does it compare to, say, agave?
It has a very strong grey note which makes it less green/blue in color when compared to the Agave.
Is it more a sage green? Which other color makes it show more green? Thank you, Sue
Hi Sue, to get a good picture of this color, we recommend you get a sample.
I love your fabrics. However, I can't buy colors because I'm only guessing and by the time a sample cut will arrive the sale is over or the color is not available. Will you please share the Pantone number that this is most similar to? Then we can make informed decisions while the product is still in stock (sale or not on sale). Thank you, Sam
It would be helpful if you could display colors swatches alongside 2 lighter and 2 darker in the same colorways. I love it when customers post their swatches so you can see which choice is more blue or yellow etc. on the same monitor. It would help those of us who are too impatient to wait for swatches and want to get sewing! Thanks
I was surprised by how well this color combines with others. It's a perfect light neutral for my wardrobe.
This is exactly what I wanted for making a pair of pants. I have previously made pants using FS's heavy wt linen and its been sturdy, comfortable, and easy to sew. I would characterize this color as medium grey green.
