Natural is the earth made, not dyed, color of the flax plant once it is made into thread. No dyes, no bleach. The only thing that impacts the color of the cloth from one production to the next ( if it is more beige or grey) is the amount of sunshine and rain that particular flax harvest had.

At a heavier weight of 7.1 ounces this 100% linen is referred to as Rustic due to its more textured look and feel. Durable and perfect for projects that require just a bit more substance.

I used a little less than 8 yards to make a queen size bedspread like one of the online sheet stores sells. I cut one of the 57 inch wide yardage into two halves lengthwise and did flat felled seams on either side with the other 57 inch wide yardage in the center. It's got a nice heft to it and is less than half of a retail linen bedspread. I like the "rustic" look.

The fragrance of this linen transported me to a green field on a summer's day! I wish the fragrance could have stayed, but I washed it and made it into a delightful pair of trousers and a blouse (Style Arc Teddy Designer Pant and Top). Thank you for the beautiful fabric!

I machine washed and while still wet, I hand-dyed in hot water with Rit Black dye which I added salt according to Rit instructions for linen. I then cut fabric to measure the top, the bottom, and then the body trunk wrap with a 1/4 inch allowance to be serged and iron pressed. Without salt, this natural fabric comes up with a green-black color which is beautiful as well, but we needed black for the trunk.

I'm a collector of linen

With all good intention I plan to replace a woven seat and cover the foam insert that is placed inside the weaving. I guess now I can't delay any longer.

This rustic linen was perfect for a cross back apron! I used the Miya Apron pattern from TOTOshopUA on Etsy. Love it!

SO 4C22 NATURAL dyed by hand, cut to measure top, bottom, and trunk body, with an allowance of 1/4 inch, machine serged, and iron pressed before gluing to the trunk. Took 1 hour to dye in hot water. Fabric performed beautifully.

My sisters and I made these aprons out of the 4C22 Natural softened and they turned out so well! It only took us a couple of hours from start to finish. We even put a hemstiched edge on the pockets. This fabric was a perfect weight for aprons. It was so fun to work on this project together.

This Heavyweight NATURAL linen I was excited about. It was my first time working with this texture of linen and I decided to make a blouse. It's 7.1 ounces in weight, but has a beautiful drape to it. To add some interest, I draped two flowers and hand sewed them to the shoulders. There's something very delicate yet impactful about this detail. I just love that this is so easy to style because it's so dressy but in a fun way.

Made from an old Parkbench pattern. Made deep pleats with buttons on the front with an elastic waistband in the back. Very comfy, wonderfully swingy fabric.
