I felt immensely pleased with myself after using this fabric to make bath towels; but really, all the credit should go to the fabric itself. Thanks to others' reviews, I knew I should expect some shrinkage, and also that it would be better if I hemmed the fabric before laundering it. I bought three yards to make two bath sheets, one baby bath towel, and two hand towels. Each adult bath sheet took 1 yard of fabric, and the third yard went to the three other towels. I hemmed all the towels first, and only then did I wash them, in the hottest water my machine can do. Machine dried after. And they are glorious! I had the best toweling experience of my life using one for the first time—the water practically leapt off my skin into the towel. Other pros: they take up less room, both in the bathroom, the closet, and the washing machine. They dry so fast compared to cotton towels. And the natural linen is way less processed than cotton, so more earth-friendly to boot. Thank you!

I love this linen. Best weight for bath/beach towels. Making a bunch for the beach as they dry so quickly. Also remade a cover for a "coolaroo" dog bed along with a piece of heavy weight. Gus loves it! Making another to keep at the beach. I'll attempt to post pics P.S. Linen bath towels can be an acquired taste. But they're great for the environment (less washing/drying), great for exfoliating, and take up less space in your closet. I love them

I bought this fabric to use on the back of my pillows as I like the plain heavy look. I usually will use up smaller pieces, back them with a medium quilting design, simple and use this linen for the back of the pillow. Just like to have this on hand for this purpose.and whatever I create.

I bought a half-yard doggie bag sample of this to test out. I tried the 4C22, but wanted something a little heavier. I turned and stitched the raw edges before washing it hot on the longest cycle and drying it in the dryer. I advise washing it alone, because the wash water was dark brown during the cycle, and I don't know if it would over-dye anything else or not. It came out still mildly scratchy, but I decided to give it a try as a bath towel anyway. It's great! Super absorbent and mildly abrasive, so that it almost polishes your skin as you dry. The half-yard is a bit too narrow - after turning the edges and the washing shrinkage it is only about 16 inches wide - so I'm going to try a full yard this time. It gets softer with use, but still retains that certain roughness that I like. If you prefer softer towels, try the pre-softened. At 8-oz a square yard, it's also a great pant weight fabric.

This is a pinafore (apron) I made based on something I saw on another linen website. It stays in place by the straps crossing in the back. This fabric is perfect. Beautiful natural gray in color, nubby, rough, but soft to the touch after a couple of washes.
