This pattern was easy and super cute to make! I'm not a fan of crop tops and I didn't take into account the length in the front so I added a separate panel to fix that for my comfort. I didn't use linen for my fabric I used a faux leather and power mesh for a different look. Great pattern definitely making this shirt again!

All I can get is the first 2 pages with the pictures and fabric and size figures. for the t-shirt top. I can not get the pattern pieces. I have the latest version of Adobe and have tried your suggestions. No luck. I would love to make this top. It looks like the perfect addition to my wardrobe.

Good afternoon! We just sent you an email with the picture of the steps. The pattern pieces are included as an attachment to the file you are opening. In the Adobe menu click View - Show/Hide - Navigation Panes - Attachments. Adobe will pop open a side panel with the attached file. Hope this helps, but check your email for the more detailed steps. Have a great day.

Fabrcis-store buyer profile image Fabric yardage not found
Reviewer: Linda

Hi, I have downloaded the PDF. I don't see yardage amounts for each size. I have the scale test page --then pattern page 1 -- no yardage info.

Hi! I am not able to add images here so will send you an email with the screenshot. The yardage requirements are on the 2nd page of the main PDF file - what Adobe opens to before you go to attachment where the pattern pieces themselves are. I'll send you an email now though. Have a great day.

Robin profile image Plus size not matching stated finish measurements
Reviewer: Robin

As a plus size sewer for myself, I've learned to always make a muslin. I used a cotton bedsheet. I was quite disappointed that the finished bust is four whole inches less than the stated standard on the pattern - I made the 24/26 and have a 53" full bust. This, of course, affects how the t-shirt drapes, which is quite poorly, with lots of wrinkling fabric where it's simply unflattering. Additionally, there seem to be several design flaws at the plus size range: the neck opening is way too small. Had I not scooped out the front neckline it would have felt strangled on my neck, eveb though the neck sits right at my clavicle bones. The back also is not well thought out. The pattern had about a 3"-4" narrow vertical cut for an opening, but then the instructions have you cut that open even further. However, the button and loop closure pulls against the back of my neck. Perhaps this is due to the tightness at the bustline pulling the back forward? The side seams should have curves, and not be straight up and down seams. You simply have to account for curves in larger sizes. Or don't offer the pattern in a larger size. I understand simplicity, but this is poorly blocked for a large woman in a 24/26. I am actually petite (only 5" tall) and the front piece hits me right at my waist. Being short, I can pull that off, sort of, but anyone average or above average will need to add length or they will be exposing the underside of their breast. Definitely not a bra-less top. Super disappointed in the fit. I have made the linen peasant top and it fits well. This one, labeled as a loose fit, is anything but loose. My printer prints the test square exactly according to the pattern standard. There is no reason that this pattern should be at such a huge variance from the stated measures.

Rose profile image Dah, is there a yardage chart?
Reviewer: Rose

I'm sure this pattern is worth at least 3 stars, but I'm giving it 4. It would receive 5 stars, if I could find a yardage chart. Can someone suggest how much I'll need for a size 10 blouse? how about a size 18? Thanks!

FS Team profile Image F|S Team

Hi! The yardage and sizing are on the 2nd page of the PDF. Size 10 will need 1 yard and size 18 will use 1.5 yards. Hope this helps and have a great day.

Ingrid profile image Easy and lovely casual shirt, just a bit short
Reviewer: Ingrid

I'm only a beginner seamstress and found this shirt to be really quick and easy to make (the only difficult part really being attaching my self-made bias tape - but only because it was my first time doing so). From the start I planned on extending the length of the shirt as I'm not such a fan of crop tops, and boy am I glad I did! Even after extending the length a bit the final shirt came out quite short. I'm still happy with it and wear it with high-waisted skirts or shorts so nothing sticks out when I lift my arms. But next time I'll definitely be adjusting the pattern to make it even longer. All in all, a really comfortable every-day type of shirt which I have received numerous compliments on. :)

Era profile image Great T, but measure to your body
Reviewer: Era

I made this great top in a medium weight Dove Gray linen. Pattern is very easy to follow with the tutorial. However, measure it against your body. I am short, 5'1" and had to lengthen the shirt by 3 inches. Loved it so much I am making another (in purple), extending the sleeves, and lengthened the body 4 inches. Perfect - unless you're going for a cropped top, of course. Thanks for the free pattern.

I used DB IL 041 silver sand softened for this Simple Linen Tee, but added 4” to length and used the sleeves from the Swing Blouse pattern. I am very happy with it. Thanks again for a free pattern and great linen.
