Does this model have all metal gears?

Hello, We are still investigating this with Singer. The information we have suggests it does not, which can make the models with all metal gears louder. We want to be 100% sure so we are double checking for you. Edit: Singer USA confirms this model has all metal gears.

Love the Walking Foot
The Singer HD 4452 handled multiple thicknesses in making crossbody bags as Christmas gifts and the walking foot has been the answer to my prayers. It prevents stretching of the top layer and makes zipper construction a breeze. I had been thinking of buying an aftermarket walking foot for my Brother SE1900 but was put off by the price. The Brother machine also doesn't hold up well on multiple thicknesses.
These 4 Dewy Crossbody Bags were made on the Singer Heavy Duty 4452. Each has 2 zippered pockets & the body is reinforced with Fusible Fleece. The first 3 L to R are made using FS IL019 linen w/FS cotton linings & #4 is a poly-blend w/a satin-like polyester lining. The finished size is 11" wide x 13" high x 3" at the bottom & has an outside zipper pocket & a magnetic snap closure. Inside is lined & has 2 additional slip pockets. The 55" x 1" adjustable strap is attached at the sides with O rings & swivel snap hooks to prevent twisting.
