IL076 Bleached Fs Premier Finish - 100% Linen Fabric - Heavy (7.1 oz/yd2) - 1.50 Yards, Width 59"
A heavier linen with a subtle basket weave that gives you a refined textured linen that is both elegant and enduring with our Premier Finish giving it that perfect final touch.
The Premier Finish undergoes a two-step process to give the cloth a luxurious, supple feel right out of the box.
First, we apply a softener to give the fabric a silkier surface. Then, strong blasts of air are blown into the woven cloth. This beats up the fibers to make them softer and mimics the fiber bending process that the fabric undergoes when you've used it a lot.
This finishing process gives the fabric a much softer and more luxurious hand. It will be less prone to deep creases and have less linting. Shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration based on the fabric type ( thread size, count, weave type).

Customer Questions and Answers
Damn, I love this linen, I have bought tons of linen from Fabricstore.com and bought 5 yds of this when it went on sale, wish I had bought more.
I bought this one in my first order. My first time working with 100% linen. I intended to make towels with it. I absolutely love the towel I've made so far. Now I want to buy more and see how well it takes due as it only comes in the one colour so far. It would make a nice, light summer blanket as well.
I purchased this linen from the Doggie bag section oh how I'm so in love with the heaviness texture and hand of this linen. It's thick, soft and after washing was even better! I made a towel and a couple hand towels from this linen. Just hemmed the raw edged folded over and done! So so tickled I grabbed up more when it was on sale
I just got my shipment in the mail, and as I had surmised, it is perfect for embroidery. It's like an aida, and it has a lovely weight and feel. I'm itching to get stitching!
Erika Jean of Portland Apron Company - I chose to make an apron in white premier finish 7oz linen. I then took the apron I made and indigo dyed it to make a fun and unique piece! I love sewing, but sometimes it's nice to challenge myself with a new medium, and shibori dying was the perfect challenge.
