A medium teal shade.

At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 59 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.

The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Lovely fabric, wonderful color

This one could become a habit! This linen is a joy to sew. I often find myself doing a lot of the sewing by hand rather than by machine because it stitches so easily and smoothly. For most clothing uses I'd prefer the lighter, IL020, but this weight is very useful. So far I have a jacket in this and some other articles of modern day clothing, but next I think it will be a kirtle with lots of embroidery. It is a dream to embroider. The color is luscious, but a little more subtle than ones like "Ceramic." There will be pictures when the camera is charged.

beautiful color

the sample swatch on line shows a bit more blue-ish than actually in person but worked well for my client order. it is a medium tone turquoise green.. not much blue ,, just a hint- which goes great with the pacific blue- i variegated pacific blue and grass green linen yarn and created fringe to match the fabric..

This dress is based on the 15th century dresses with raised pleats, often called "Housebook" dresses, in what is now Germany.
