At a heavier weight of 7.1 ounces this 100% linen is referred to as Rustic due to its more textured look and feel. Durable and perfect for projects that require just a bit more substance.
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

This really is not navy. It is the color of Air Force Blue (the dress uniforms) Beautiful fabric but will have to return because it is much lighter than it appears. I gave it 3 stars because of the color not being what I know is navy. Now I'll have to get samples. Not happy this time!
This blue makes other colors pop, even natural tones. It goes with everything! Although on my screen color is true, you have to see it to really appreciate it. Blues are hard to choose, so order swatches if unsure. But yes! This is a great 'navy'! It's not cold, it has a nice worn warm feel. As always, the texture of 4C22 is one of my favorites to work with: thread is easy to pull & cut along, weight is sturdy for any project, & the price is great! The recipient of this quilt asked for a crib skirt to go with, so I ordered more!
I made a blue table cloth for the 4th of July but I use it every time. This is my best table cloth. The color is gorgeous, love the heavy feeling and softened more and more with every wash without losing the great look. The best quality fabric for me. Love the navy blue color, sometimes the color issues are in the eyes of each person in my experience. I always disagree with a friend about some color and tones, funny thing. I can't explain it. But for me this is the best navy blue ever. But I love washed linen!
This color is definitely not navy. It is more of a French blue and is exactly the same color as IL019 "dark denim." I ordered both items at the same time. And I wouldn't label either one dark denim much less navy. It is a medium blue. I gave 3 stars because the fabric itself is very nice. However, had I known the true color I could have saved some money by not ordering both this and IL019 -- ending up with the same color in different weights. Having to pay return shipping costs means I'll just keep it and use it for another project. If I order from this site again, I will definitely request samples first.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
