IS003 Optic White Softened - 51% Linen / 49% Cotton Fabric - Light (4.3 oz/yd2) - 1.50 Yards, Width 57"
At 4.3 ounces this 51% Linen/49 % Cotton blend brings together all of the things you love about linen, and the easy care of cotton, making this, a perfect pairing of two great fibers.
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Customer Questions and Answers
I made a summer top out of this and boy is it stiff! And the wrinkles are not kind little wrinkles as with 100% linen. I don't like it. I will try again with a different linen.
I am sorry to hear that the linen/cotton has not softened up as expected. I will email you directly with some suggestions that may help you achieve the look and feel you are wanting.
I use this linen for my embroidery designs and I just love the way the fabrics stitch out ... I give it a 5 ...
No this isn"t pristine white, it is more of a cream but in some situations that is a plus. It makes wonderful curtains and pillowcase covers with lots of full beautiful ruffles! Launders up great.
Love the colors of the linen/cotton I ordered, but the optic white is a whole different, sad fabric. Terribly creased and rough, even after four washings. The colors are soft after one. I will never purchase this in optic white again.
We use this fabric to make Purificators and Altar and Church linens. It washes and irons beautifully, holds up very well under weekly washings, and is very easy to sew and work with. While it is not paper white, it is white and stays nice and soft and absorbent, which is important for Purificators and Church linens.
The fabric was great but I was disappointed with the color. On the screen it appears to be a true bright white but it was not. It was more of a light cream color.
This is the most wonderful fabric to work with. It is white. Not like a piece of white paper...but still white. It flows beautifully and is very soft! I use it for EVERYTHING from ruffled pillows, bedding, table cloths, curtains and more. I wash it before I use it for that soft cottage look.
Extremely disappointed with this material. Firstly, it is NOT white - is a cream. Secondly, is NOT lightweight. Is a heavy - almost denim - weight - more suited to upholstery. Vey heavy and thick. If you are looking for a linen to make clothing - avoid this one.
