Lightweight, plain weave, 100% cotton PERCALE. This 59 inch wide, 3.6 ounces per square yard fabric has a thread count that was specifically selected to create the ideal balance of durability, breathability, and price.
The cloth is tightly woven using a one over, one under weaving technique that gives you the perfect combination of a crisp hand and smooth surface.
PERCALE is light, crisp, and breathable, making it the perfect fabric for children's garments, apparel, home textiles and of course bedding for everyone including little ones and those of us who are hot sleepers.

The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Fine fabric for kids' clothes
I made shorts outfits for two of my grandsons plus a romper for their as-yet-unborn baby brother from IC005 in the soft blue solid and the airplanes print. I wasn't sure I would be impressed by FS cotton percale, but wow, I am! Such a fine, silky weave, perfect for putting next to the skin of my dear grandbabies.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
