Lightweight, plain weave, 100% cotton PERCALE. This 59 inch wide, 3.6 ounces per square yard fabric has a thread count that was specifically selected to create the ideal balance of durability, breathability, and price.
The cloth is tightly woven using a one over, one under weaving technique that gives you the perfect combination of a crisp hand and smooth surface.
PERCALE is light, crisp, and breathable, making it the perfect fabric for children's garments, apparel, home textiles and of course bedding for everyone including little ones and those of us who are hot sleepers.

The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

I used this as the front of a light weight summer quilt...and can I just say that I love how it turned out? Absolutely beautiful and it feels so nice. I was a bit worried as it is thinner than the cotton I usually use for quilting, however I decided to go with it anyways because the print was exactly what I needed for my design (recreating a baby quilt) and I am extremely happy I did because it quilted up wonderfully and I am already thinking of making another one with a different print. Highly recommend.
This fabric is great! I love the teeny roses--the scale and weight is absolutely perfect for my doll sewing. It can be hard to find good-quality cotton with nice, small prints like this, and I'm very happy to have picked up some of this one!
Remade a baby quilt (but made it adult sized) to replace a beloved baby quilt that had been accidentally destroyed. I used the percale cotton with the baby roses because it was the closest match I could find to the original pattern and then decided to go with a lovely handkerchief weight linen for the back. All the fabrics are from fabric-store.com and they were gorgeous, easy to work with, quilted wonderfully, washed up lovely, and the resulting quilt is already loved by the recipient. It turned out so nice I am already planning to make one for myself in a different pattern!
I used this to make a 1/6 scale doll dress! The print scale and the fabric weight were absolutely perfect.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
